What is a good schedule to create, test, scale and maintain campaigns?
Hey there,
I am working on a better strategy because so far AM has been like putting out fire in a city under flames lol.
I know that its going to be a little bit like that at all times, but the following things happen to me quite often
- Forgetting split tests - I have split test running for banners in this campaign, offers in this campaign and landers in the other two campaigns and yada yada yada... I keep missing some of these split tests until i wasted enough money
- Starting split tests here and there - When I see some campaign has run out of banners I will upload banners there. When the banner gets approved after a few hours (or the other day) I will go and pause some banners and split test the others. I am spending way too much time on this.
- Messing up optimizations - I have to optimize this campaign everyday and the other campaign every few days (Because traffic volume is less). In the end I will miss optimizing some campaigns until i see its ROI negative for way too long.
- Spend a few days only on creative works - Sometimes I spend all my time doing creative work like making some sexy new lander and banner, only to ignore optimizations for the day because... honestly I am more of a designer and love that part more than working with numbers lol. And then the next day, I have to fire fight again.
I have tried building a few strategies to overcome this fiasco but the above problems keep happening nevertheless.
But today I am going to sit down and figure out a good strategy and stick to it like a motherfucker over the next few weeks.
So I want some inputs, on how you folks schedule these things.
What is a good schedule to create, test, scale and maintain campaigns?
Of course, when you are a single person doing these things.

I would say, every day think about what's the most important thing you need to do that day, do that first, then the second, third and so on. For repetitive tasks - outsource. Also remove bad and even good camps so you can focus on the GREAT ones. It was so much better for me once I started doing that

Something like this maybe?
Morning - kill bad placements / landers + check what parts do well and try to figure out why (keep in mind)
Afternoon - start work on new material + possibly raise budgets on the good ones
Late afternoon - prepare new stuff you have made + upload on the platform (but pause it)
Evening - check if the budgets you raised are stable and still green
Morning - launch new stuff you prepared day before + kill bad placements / landers
etc etc etc ofcourse checking stats is a more ongoing thing during the day in general...

I have finally created a schedule that is quite similar to what is suggested above.
I will just share it with here in case someone need it.
**CREATIVE WORK (First Half of the day)**
- Making Creatives
- Setting Up Campaigns
- Starting Campaigns
**ANALYZING (Second Half of the day)**
- Extracting/Analyzing data and Scaling/Optimizing/Starting campaigns
- Quickly Setting Up Campaigns in Voluum if required
- Checking Bids
- Talking to AM's
- Writing down what kind of creatives/campaigns to make next time in Evernote
**ONGOING WORK**
- Quick Checks
- Reacting to AMs
- Reacting to Campaigns
- Reading Tutorials
