AM Newbie Needs Help! (3)

Hey guys,

I'm good with ecom + fb ads, but I want to learn am and this is all very new to me.

I followed the newbies guide to pops, and i have mobidea, Voluum, and propellerads, and have launched 3 camps.

I just have a few questions (screenshots are attached below):


1. In Propeller Ads, how can i select Wifi + certain 3g carriers? When I select all, it doesn't allow me to edit the carriers.

2. How does Propeller Ads pull the pop images from Mobidea? I didn't see anything covered about setting up the images from the offer.

3. I think I did the Voluum links right, but it's strange that I don't even have a click. How can I make sure everything is working correctly?

Hi Brian,

PropellerAds provides only pop-under traffic on the Self Served Platform (SSP) and if you're looking to promote using other ad formats from propeller, the only way would be to create a managed campaign with the help of your account manager.

As for targeting when you select all, you will receive mixed traffic from mobile carriers as well as cable/wifi traffic. But if your offer accepts only traffic from a specific mobile carrier then you might want to go to advanced targeting options after specifying the country. Example below:


Propeller or any other traffic source won't automatically pull images from your affiliate network for your offer. As you may notice on other guides in the Newbie Friendly Guides & Tutorials on a pop traffic source you paste your campaign link generated from your tracker.

The flow goes like this: Traffic -> Campaign -> Offer
- Traffic comes from the traffic source where we set our campaign link and required targeting.
- Campaign link is generated from our tracking platform where we have configured our landers and offers
- Offers links from the affiliate network are added to our tracking platform.

From the screenshot it seems like you haven't sent too much traffic to your camp. You have to send thousands of visits to your campaign and optimize accordingly in order to get your way to a positive camp

If you want to select certain 3g carriers you can only creat another 3g campaign.Next, you are using direct ads so you needn't worrying LP and you will never see vivsts in direct ads.
