I am planning on giving the next while to Facebook. This traffic source seems like the best fit for me considering the type of offers I want to run.
Still a day or 2 away from launch. I do not want to rush into running traffic as I only have 1 account which is my personal account.
My plan
- Going to read the FB section on stm thoroughly today and make notes.
- Apply to affiliate networks, currently I am with Mundo & Appflood.
- Look into a cloaker
- Find mobile landing pages on Adplexity
- Setup campaign
- Decide on a budget and come up with some sort of a budget system per campaign.
- Learn about bidding
- Look deeply into audience insights to determine how I will run
Few questions for you guys
- My plan is to split test between post engagement vs newsfeed clicks to site. Is this a good idea?
- I am planning on running in AU, US, CA, UK to begin.. should I stick to this geo or should I go a tier or 2 down?
- Is this approach a very high risk for a ban?
- Would buying likes and comment to a post prior to running paid traffic cause a ban?
- If there is one mistake that you wish you did not make with FB, what would it be?
- What age groups convert best for sweeps? I feel men and women above 25 years to 55 would be the ideal space. Am I on the right path?
As I setup the campaign and reach the launch stage, I will update this post with campaign specifics. I do not have any custom audience so I will be relying solely on FB targeting. I have watched a few vids with using audience insights so I will give that a shot.

99% chance of ban - so you will need many more FB accounts

- Is this approach a very high risk for a ban? No! I have had my account for 2 months now and doing pin submit. If you warm up your account properly it will last. if its not a strong account then yes it will get banned really quick.

Eek.. A lot affiliates have recommended I do not go after sweeps with only 1 account as it will at some point be banned.
Instead, going to do a white had lead gen insurance camp.
