ExoClick Funding (15)

ExoClick Funding

Is anyone able to fund their ExoClick account via PayPal? I made my initial deposit about a week ago with PayPal but now it says "This option is not available for your account." I sent an email to them and they responded with "I would like to confirm PayPal payment is not available at the moment, but this restriction could be removed in the future."

Has anybody else been through this and know why they restricted you? The other options they have is wire (which takes up to 5 days), webmoney (not available for me since I'm in the US) and Paxum (anybody try this?).

Thanks,

DK

Hey DK,

I had issue with PayPal, but a different one - they have some deposit limits, which is usually around 2k/month through PayPal.
I recommend you to do a wire, it's better.
You should use PP just as a backup when you are in emergency.
Not sure why it's disabled though.
Is your account verified?

I used paypal to deposit some funds to exo just a few days ago and it worked fine. I just checked and I still see paypal listed, so maybe they made some changes on a per-account level ... maybe they took this option away from some accounts in order to force people into using different methods of payments with lower fees ...

I would understand if I met that 2K limit, but I only deposited $200. My account is verified as well. I don't mind using Wire, the only problem is that it would take up to 5 days Which sucks because I won't be able to run anything thru ExoClick until then.

The paypal option is still listed as well for me, but when I click on it that is when it tells me it is no longer available. It makes sense that they would want lower fees, just irritating for me since PayPal is so convenient and this traffic network is getting me some conversions.

I just tested it for you and the paypal option works for me when I click on it, so it must be tied to just some accounts. I understand your frustration though, have you considered using paxum for example? Their fees are lower and it works in a similar way, you just fund the account with a CC and then transfer it to exo.

Thanks for looking into this for me Matuloo! I will probably end up using Paxum since it will be much faster than Wire.

@daydreamer

New affiliates don't have Paypall as a payment option. When I asked about it, they've said you need to spend some money with them in order to get paypall option back. On your place I would use wire. I use it all the time with them and payments are usually processed within few hours. When trying to use Paxum I needed to make a wire transfer to them in order to fund my account (they don't accept CC for my country, not sure what's situation for your country).

I have the Paypal option under my account and I've used it a lot but my total spend on Exoclick has passed $200K so far. Probably Paypal is not an option for new advertisers.

the funds are available in your account in a few hours with Wire? if so, I will look into that. I just need the quickest option to fund the account. I just thought Wire would take days at least. thanks!

yeah, it might be because of my bank, but it's that way. Just make sure to pay before 12 at your bank

Yes PayPal definitely works fine, must be something with that you are new there.

I understand wire sucks as it's sometimes slow, but we have to plan ahead accordingly when we are running our campaigns.

Campaign approvals, payments, everything in this game can take time.

So plan ahead and get used to it.

Wish you some great and profitable campaigns!

It's probably a new account thing. I know Exoclick isn't too fond of Paypal it seems due to issues of Fraud etc.

Just fund your account using Paxum or a Wire and after you get a little bit of history with them if you email support they will probably enable it for you.

Hey.
I also just checked the paypal option for funding and works just fine. Probably it's like jabong82 said , new account.
As for the wire , yes , it can take up to 5 days , but , for me , usualy it was credited in the account the next day if i made the transfer untill noon. That is from the UK . After a couple of wire transfers , you'll figure out times and everything . Also , you might want to make the fee for the transfer count , as in sending at least 1k .Just saying
