Previously I tried running a few campaigns on Linkedin ads with no luck. I just couldn't make their high CPCs work.
However recently I've been messing around with Linkedin organic traffic (through posts). The LI algorithm recently updated, which also seems very easy to manipulate. On my first try, I was able to get 350,000+ post views.
My next stop is to now monetize posts by placing an offer in the first comment (placing an externally URL in your post throttles reach). Will let you know how I get on.
Has anyone had any luck?
Similar. Not much luck due to high cost. Clearly more suitable for B2B offers. I've thought about running offers targeting HR since they're a cohort on there all day but haven't had the chance.
You make a good point about organic, and a lot more posts seem to be going viral. There's a framework most people are using. As you said, put the external URL in the comment. Also, short and staggered length sentences instead of paragraphs, no images, and don't mention cities.
interesting... I never really like LinkedIn ads - every time I try to do something on there its just not worth the high CPC - will be following your post strategy tho.
Worth a test

Yep, very interested in LinkedIn traffic, i think it's really untapped. I believe you can do something with it's traffic, if you go blackhat

Interesting Mr. Green, I do some testing too on Linkedin! I would love to hear about your progress and I will be sharing mine too once I get something good..
I am going to be trying linkedin traffic this week for our bannerslanders.com offer.
Might make a case study and share with you guys how we do
How did this go in the end?
Mr Green, Nickpeplow, Khzidan or Attila...no one shared the results...is linkedin that bad, even with cloaking...

We gave it a test, stupidly expensive CPC. Likely absolutely insane. Will try to dig out some screenshots
Their pixel also messed up the content of our landers and hid the body. Perhaps our implementation, but bad news.
