Extending the life of a winning angle

Say you found an angle that works pretty well. However after a while banner blindness kicks in and conversions start going down. How do we kickstart things again?

Are we just changing images?

Are we changing the layouts?

Are we maybe rewording the headline to something similar?

You can do all of the mentioned things. First thing to do would be to change the image and make a more significant change to the layout. Then try to tweak the headline to sound different but still following the same message. You can also change position of the CTA, swap the sentences (in case there are more), move the main image to the other side ...

Burnout and banner blindness is also partially tied to specific sources, so by taking the ads and the whole funnel to a different source or placements will help it too.

But sometimes the angle simply stops working and there is no way to revive it, you have to take it down for a while, then try to re-use it again couple months later.
