Email sequences help

Hi everyone,

I'm runing a store, and so far I've collected few emails. Could recommend me some good resources on how to create good email sequences, or some tips regarding this? Thanks!

I'm not too familiar with email sequences, but have worked a bit with ActiveCampaign and it is very flexible with its whole automation system. They as well as other big players like MailChimp are strict on affiliate marketing emails though. More info on that and some other email related tools in this thread.

I was thinking about more on how to create quality email, like what to write in it, how often to send them, etc. But thanks anyway

Hey Wombasrb,

Masterpiece I read on writing email sequences is from André Chaperon - AutoresponderMadness.
Look up his product, it's awesome!

Andre Chaperon is good yep, you can also look up Ben Settle, although quite the opposite method from nurturing leads and having autoresponder sequences his ways are pretty good.

I just go on fiverr and find a good copy person.... quick short emails I found worked better than the long lengthy ones... but then again guess its all about the reputation you are getting with the emails and your user base... i have seen my open rate dropped badly once i started pushing more offers to list form 40% to 7% - so now I have to rengage them

A really simple way to get inspiration on email sequences in any niche of your choice:

-Register a new email

-Use that email to opt-into newsletters / product updates / any other mailing lists or notification lists

-Wait a couple of weeks for emails to roll in

-Start checking that inbox for ideas on the language/jargon being used, offers that are being promoted, angles/tones used in the copy...etc.

I'm not recommending to copy/rip other people's work - but this is a very good way to get inspiration.

One thing that's important as well is not to overthink it either.

Better to send OK emails than do nothing at all and let opportunities pass.

It's a trap I've fallen into as well, trying to perfect sequences, while I should have just started.

As for ideas:
- Look, you just bought X, product Y really goes well with it and allows you to (do Z, save money, etc)
- If you are interested in topic Y (say gardening), did you know that we also have
- Other customers that bought X, have also bought Y and Z and here's what they think out these (reviews, ratings etc)

Very, very basic follow up mails that do work. Don;t expect anything spectacular, but the compound effect of these is great though, as it works on auto pilot.

Quite!

Appreciate all responses. Created a sequence, and will see how will it performs
