A little confused about which traffic source... (4)

A little confused about which traffic source...

So I am seeing this restriction on an offer that says:

"No pop traffic can be sent directly to the merchant's lander. If you are sending pop traffic please submit a prelander for approval. "

It also says these traffic types are
OK:
Website, Contextual, Search, Social Media, MOBILE, Desktop..

1) What are other ways I can promote on Mobile but not pop traffic? Does it mean I should move to native ads?

2) Does PropellerAds only do pop-unders (in other word, only Pop ads)? Can anyone recommend a good traffic source for this type of offer?

Thank you!

Alan

1) native, facebook, google, content etc
2) yes, or at least no total different traffic sources. What kind of offer is it? Bit hard to guess now ;-)

I would suggest that talking to your AM about running this offer on POP would be the best way to find out if you can run it on Propeller or any other Pop traffic source.
Usually Pop traffic is considered to generate lower quality leads and that may be the advertiser's concern for putting such limits.

It doesn't say that pop traffic isn't allowed - it says that if you want to run pop traffic, landers must be used, and approved in advance.

So if you're wanting to run pop, you'll need to submit your landers to your AM, and can only run those landers after they're approved.

Many affiliates will just submit a compliant lander for approval, and then run other landers (that aren't compliant, or at least haven't been approved), but if found out by the aff network or the advertiser of the offer, they have every right to refuse to pay for the leads - that's a risk they should to take on by running against the rules.
