Hey there, I've been testing all sorts of stuff recently, joined this forum to get some solid knowledge on how I can make some serious money with my 18 hour a day computer addiction
So, since I've been seriously struggling with my test campaigns, I figured I would post my next campaign and get some feedback before I dump in money!
I've found what appears to be a good gambling offer that would best be served via pop traffic. The link features a prelander with a big spinning wheel that basically gives you a double deposit bonus and some other sort of credit prize for signing up. Offer geo is RU and minimum deposit is 100 RUB which comes out to less than 1.50 usd. 80+ usd payout for conversions.
My thought is to run this as a pop on propelmedia, and target gambling keywords, optimize from there. Does that sound viable? I feel like what I think would work and what people are making money on are two completely different things. Again, I'm here to learn from the best. I don't expect anyone to share their secret sauce for what they're currently making money on but I really need whatever guidance I can get! My only experience is in generating tech support calls so this is fairly new to me.
Thanks in advance!
Hello Johny
From what I know, there are 2 most popular ways of making gambling offers work :
1.) extra credits, free money etc ... so the approach you mentioned or
2.) promoting the special hacks to win over roulette, blackjack or whatever game
There are more ways, but these 2 keep on popping up all the time. POPs is a popular traffic type for this, so it's a good decision to start there. Targeting gambling keywords is obviously a good decision either, considering the approach you are about to take. The problem is the high payout of this offer, you will have to spend a LOT to actually get some actionable data. Is there a way for you to get a PPL gambling offer to start with? It would be so much easier to optimize such offer and once you have the best converting placements/LPs nailed down, you could move to PPS.
Awesome, that makes perfect sense...I'll look for a PPL offer to get the traffic sorted out. Thank you!!!
