hello all,
i am in search of pop/ppv/redirect networks that have a fully functional api that will allow the ability to programmatically blacklist targets, modify bids, stop/start campaigns, etc
any recommendations?
also, any additional info you might know regarding which networks have the best micro-targeting, fastest approval times, etc would be awesome
your help is greatly appreciated
Hey @reverb!
The best API I've seen in the pops/redirects space is from Zeropark.
They are also one of the biggest networks (they are also rebroking traffic from other networks), so I would definitely take a look at them.
I cannot unfortunately link it here as the API docs are available only to logged-in users.
Another API that I remember was solid is from Exoclick, they are mainly banners focused, but got also huge pop inventory.
Plugrush got quite OK API as well.
Other networks are also slowly catching up.
awesome, thanks @erikgyepes. as i continued researching i started to gather that about zeropark. i am currently waiting to re-awaken my zeropark account as it has been a while since i used it
i'll also take a look at Plugrush. thanks again

Yup, ZeroPark's API is very solid. I've used it a significant amount. PopAds' API is kind of thin at the moment and only allows a few things, but it's also there.
@nicolaos - I did a 3-hour Automation course for iStack Training which covers all of that - it's available here: https://istacktraining.com/acceleration (ZeroPark's API is used for one of the live-coding modules where I code up an automation tool right in front of you and explain how I'm doing it.)
I may do a few tutorials on automation here on STM too if people are interested. Let me know if so.
@ervin Great! I'll check it out.
@caurmen Thanks for sharing! Looks awesome, I'm definitely considering it!
i agree with @caurmen. so far zeropark seems to have a very robust api. i did look into popads and popcash but their functionality is limited to primarily reporting purposes
i was looking through my email and found a notification from adcash just a few days ago that they now have an api for optimizing campaigns. i've used them in the past for both display and pops so i'm looking into that now
i'm going to start with one of those two to get things going and then integrate with the other once i'm ready to horizontally scale profitable campaigns to other traffic sources
the ultimate goal would be the ability to rapidly test larger groups of offers and automate the scaling process across as many traffic sources as possible
It's a pleasure for our team to read those comments concerning our API. But we're just getting started! We're working on improvements to our API, and also testing some other stuff that will help you to make a quick automatic optimization. Wait for the announcements
@Zeropark - Looking forward to it!
thanks, @codebyte. i'll check into clickadu for sure
popcash api looks pretty comprehensive. looking forward to trying all of these out
