Hello fellow AMs!
Lots of native ad networks popping up lately and a lot of the older ones still going strong.
What's everyones favorite networks to work with lately?
We've noticed the bigger networks trying to be more aggressive with arb sites especially to have exclusive widget placements.
It seems also like they are all still behind in technology in terms of reporting and integrations with maybe revcontent being in the lead in integrations through their API.

Quite curious about this too!
I Have been dealing with their technology daily in the last 2 years. I can tell for sure that when it comes to being up to date in terms of technology (API services, real time reporting, or even UI usability) they are all far behind.
Considering that some of them are multi billion companies and leaders in internet marketing industry this is a big non sense to me.
If I have to order them by how techy they are, I would go:
1. Revcontent: best API service, great documentation, no limits on calls, and can pull almost everything. Also all the stats are almost in real time; Decent UI but at least loading fast and always online; Targeting options are good but would love to see changing bid of widgets and/or contents.
2. Mgid: Nothing particularly great but the API does its work, poor or inexistent documentation, no limits in API calls, but missing some data pulling options; UI has a '90s look but works every time; Maybe the best targeting options around, you can select country, region, operating systems and versions, browsers, languages etc. Can change bids on contents and widgets, and very flexible daily budgets
3. ContentAD: API has almost all you need in terms of getting the stats and updating campaigns, but they have ridiculous limits and how it was implemented really wrong which makes it unusable; Data is up to 1 hour late; Poor targeting options with a lot of geos that are not possible to target. Very high default CPC, and cant change bids of contents.
4. Taboola: API has a lot of functionalities but very poor servers, only 1 every 5 requests is fulfilled successfully, the rest simply fails; Same for their backstage, big part of the day is down; Stats are 4 to 5 hours in delay which makes the API useless; Targeting options are ok but nothing great, they limit the % amount you can increase the bid of sites over the campaign default bid. No bidding for contents
5. Outbrain: working on it right now so wanna wait before giving my opinion
6. AdNow, Engageya, Chameleon: no API last time I checked; have tried them all and I can say nothing innovative, I would expect something more from new traffic sources that enter the market. They can't compete in traffic amount or quality but at least they can do it in the technology they offer.
So for being Tech companies the result is pretty disappointing
It’s really crazy that we are in 2017 and these networks who are in the online ad space can’t understand the importance of tracking costs/revenue. Just don’t get it.
I would say that Adblade, although it is one of the lesser known networks, has some decent performing traffic. The fact that the submission process is difficult and manual probably removes a lot of the competition. For scaling campaigns and being able to spend a lot, I would say Taboola reigns in that respect--especially if you're looking for more premium traffic at good prices.
