Rule of thumb?

Haven't done any pops in a long while and just testing a bunch of ideas out.

For those experienced and crushing it with pops do you have a rule of thumb you work to in terms of minimum ROI from 'funnel only' versus where you expect to close the gap with placement blacklisting?

Thanks

Depends on how good funnel you are working with and what kind of traffic you initially get from the source. For example a LP can dramaticaly improve the conversion rates and sometimes a source sends you a crap load of BOTs initially ... so if I start with a directlinked campaign and I see that a bunch of big placements just sucked my budget ... well I know that this can be improved A LOT!

On the other hand, if I'm somewhat confident in my funnel, the LPs and offers are solid and I still see -50% or worse ... I know it's time to blow the horn and retreat
