How to keep your self motivated when you hit $10,000 a day?

Hi, I've been in STM for about half a year, and learnt a lot here. Thanks to you guys.
Now I hit $10,000 revenue and $4,000 profit a day. I've been run this affiliate business for about 6 months. Now i'm a little bit bored, really hard to keep myself motivated to achieve another goal. How do you big guys pass the boring point and achieve $10,000 or even $100,000 profit a day?

my motivation is mastery, i don't equate goals in values anymore but mastery of the subject matter. this keeps me motivated to learn more new stuff each day which is actually fun and the longer it takes the more fun and challenging it is.

i would recommend the book Mastery by Robert Greene which really changed my perspective.

If you're doing this just for yourself, it will get bored really fast, get a bigger goal as to help other people get better lives, think of your family, close friends, relatives, or you just wanna grow your team and help as many people as you can.

According to legend, experts said for years that the human body was simply not capable of a 4-minute mile. It wasn’t just dangerous; it was impossible.

In the 1940’s, the mile record was pushed to 4:01, where it stood for nine years, as runners struggled with the idea that, just maybe, the experts had it right. Perhaps the human body had reached its limit.

On May 6, 1954, Roger Bannister broke the 4-minute barrier, running the distance in 3:59.4. As part of his training, he relentlessly visualized the achievement in order to create a sense of certainty in his mind and body.

Barely a year after Bannister’s accomplishment, someone else ran a mile in under 4 minutes. Then some more runners did. Now, it’s almost routine. Even strong high-schoolers today run 4-minute miles.

Wow that's insane profits! Congrats!

The way I would look at it is that it's volatile and a week from now the profit could be a lot lower. I would want to maximise it whilst it's good and scalable and make as much as I can. Also $100k rev in a day would be an exciting challenge to take on...

Money only motivates very short term. If you make 100$/day and suddenly make 250$/day that will make you happy like a baby for about 1 week. Then you are used to it. Same effect will happen if you go from 250 to 500 From 500 to 1K, etc.

Long term motivation comes from within yourself and the ambition you have. Its probably the hardest part of being a business owner. Keeping yourself motivated.
You can only motivate your staff when you are motivated which makes it even harder but even more important at the same time. I have learned over the years that motivation comes and goes in waves. You can make the UP-waves longer and the DOWN-waves shorter by putting clearly defined goals and working towards them, finding something that gives you energy (eg running/tennis/football/etc) and keeping a healthy work/life balance.

Thank you, bro. Just bought the book, will definitely read it. I like the author, he wrote another book '48 Laws Of Power', it's amazing too.

its amazing man - 6 months 4,000 $ per day .

If I can make you to be in proportions:

I'm in a situation where 3,000 $ per month will change my life .

I'm probably going to change my place of residence (from Israel to Australia / Canada) to get enough income so I can focus on affiliate marketing , I am in debt of about $ 40,000 because of unsuccessful internet business attempts (private label on amazon) , I need been evacuated in recent days from the apartment I rent , I think the main motive that will keep you in thanksgiving is not to think that there is a certain situation that is safe, nothing in life is not safe, to thank at any moment your abilities to make the income you make - and health will attract you more, my situation is much better than children in Africa / other places so I thank my place and always strive to grow, because if we do not grow up we will die (mainly emotional).

In your place I do not think you only need to reach the $ 10,000 goal - but increase your mindset, invest in books on the subject that can help you move you forward (Not only in the financial sphere).

I'm definitely a newbie here in the area of affiliate marketing, it's the least I can contribute back to the members of the community here who are so helpful to me and for that I thank - nothing is self-evident, and should not remain destitute in order to understand it - will be smarter before.

I wish you open your thinking to be Thank on the one hand and to growth - intellectual on the other hand - hope it helped a little.

and good luck bro

This is a Maslow's Hierarchy Of Needs problem:

Money is not actually very useful if it doesn't buy anything that you deeply need or want.

You've achieved a level of success which - if stable and well-invested (you are saving/investing a lot of this, right?) - means that you don't have any immediate low-end needs on the hierarchy.

So you need to sit down and think about what you actually want.

It's a lot harder than it sounds. Many people find it very frightening to sit and consider what they'd actually like to do in the event that they didn't need to bring in next month's rent - it brings up all sorts of difficult questions, societal expectations vs what you actually want to do, and similar things.

The best resource I can think of for getting started on the process (short of a good therapist, which is actually something I'd really recommend to almost anyone) is actually Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss -there's a good chance you own a copy already!

His "Dreamlining" approach is great for figuring out what you actually want. And he's also got a chapter on what to do when you've achieved an independent income, which is well worth reading.

Once you figure out what you want, and how much money you need to get there, you're very likely to feel your motivation returning in force.

Hope that helps!

There is one thing that has always worked very well for me ... spend the money As soon as you're out of it, the motivation will return pretty quickly

On a more serious note, not that the above statement wouldn't prove itself true several times in my life already ... nothing lasts forever, not even the best campaign. It's amazing that you are pulling $4k profit per day, but I can guarantee that it will come to an end, sooner or later. If you stop now, you will find yourself in financial trouble soon enough, because believe me or not, you will get used to the current lifestyle pretty quickly and it's VEEEERY hard to climb down from the ladder again.

So the will to keep the standard of living and the opportunities you just discovered, could serve as a form of motivation. It's not easy, been there myself for a few times already... but it works pretty well for me now

Started reading this book today. It's amazing, strongly recommended.

Find the passion and joy in your work. Most people suffer in their work, in order to get money to enjoy their life. Find passion and joy in your work.

Congratulations on your success! May I ask which traffic type you're making that kind of profits from? (Please feel free to ignore if you're not wanting to divulge - and I promise not to dig deeper. Just wanting to see if I could link to your post to serve as inspiration to newer members that are running similar traffic types as you.)

As for your question - I trust that you'll find some inspiration in this thread:

Hope it helps!

I'm not sure what your current operations look like, but for me when I started constantly hitting 10k I started looking into building a business. Hiring a team, building tech, creating an edge. It's actually exactly how Afflow/Monetizer was born.

Yeah it's a great book and I quote Mr Green "The ultimate form of power is mastery" Maybe this line will keep us moving forward.

Strangely enough this is the topic of the day for me as well ) like literally spent 2 hours talking about it:

mastery gives that sense of purpose pictured in the above piramid.

money is at the bottom, once you have enough and your intellect can process that you have enough, it no longer satisfies that need.

having mastered one of the many arts one can master is the goal.

having the 10th Dan like in Martial Arts, literally means you kick ass in your field and others look at you for inspiration and wisdom and also ask for guidance by paying for it.

if you've seen Dr. House then you know
