Discover most converting, unsaturated and cost efficient markets for Facebook ads!
Some time ago, Facebook launched a new updated version of their Facebook IQ, a blog-like site for advertisers offering insights and research into consumer behaviors and industry trends. Among the new additions to tools and resources, Cross-Border Insights finder provides a deeper look into international market opportunities for advertisers based on their location and vertical.
We played around with this tool and retrieved a global ranking of 237 countries to explore Facebook advertising costs, which markets are more likely to convert and auction saturation.
Below is a visualisation of our findings broken down by Cost, Converting and Competition in three interactive maps.

@pekadis, no website live indeed, but the email adress works flawless ;-) thanks anyway!
@vortex, for sure insightful, although I was hoping they could combine the parts and make like an average so you could see what would be most interesting country to even start in general... maybe apply for their further services would be an idea then.

Yup I'm sure they have a lot more data available to paying members. But even just that chart above is real useful. It has helped me to provide some input on another thread here yesterday:

And judging based on just that chart alone, I guess a good approach would be to pick geos that are on the best-converting list, that aren't on the other 2 lists. But yeah like you said, it would be great to see averages of some sort that combine the 3 metrics - because ultimately, high ROI is what we're all after - not JUST cheap clicks, or JUST low competition, or JUST high conversion rate.
Thanks again for sharing that!

Awesome, played around a bit with Cross Border Insights, there is a ton of great data here! Once you break it down not only by Geo, but Industry and Campaign Objective, it'll compare the top 5 countries with the highest reach for your parameters, then from those 5, you can select the best combination of Conversion, Cost and Competition Indices. Thanks for the share @stickupkid!
