I was a long-term user of Astrill, they seemed to be completely unmatched in terms of speed and worked well in China (for the time that I was there, 6-7 years ago), but my subscription ended and there was a period I didn't need a VPN. Once I wanted to get back into it, Astrill seemed to be building up some bad reviews, so not sure they are as good as they once were, though can't say from experience.
Am using VyprVPN now, and it's great. Not all that many VPNs offer concurrent connections AFAIK, but VyprVPN does.
VyprVPN works great for me, plus owners golden frog are really into privacy and internet freedom in a profession and non wacko way.
Tested several VPNs, VyprVPN and their ideology is best fit for me as well.
