Hi!
First question that comes to my mind - did you speak with our account managers or support team, in order to check which offers are performing the best at the moment on
The thing is that normally we recommend to run Sweepstakes with pop traffic, and especially with that type of traffic you should use prelanders.
There are some opportunities hiding in the countries you chose, but it has to be more specific. For instance in Brazil it's better to run sweepstakes, in Thailand - mobile content offers, there are several good offers for Indonesia, but all this information is specific and you need to chat with our team, in order to know what's the best option. Really, don't be shy, and shoot the questions! Our team is there to help you
From our experience, it's better to focus on one-two countries at the beginning, and try to make the most out of it. And unfortunately again, landing pages are a must here.
Hope it helps
That makes sense, and I haven't tried it.
Thanks for the help both of you!
First of all - profuse apologies for the extremely late reply! Been traveling (still am).
With direct-linking, you'll need to test tons of offers - this is the primary reason why it would be wise to keep the test budget low for each offer (or else you'd sustain too much loss).
Bid is more than OK for avoiding crap traffic - so in terms of traffic quality you're covered.
If, when you check stats at the aff network, you're seeing that the traffic is ending up at the intended offers, then tracking was set up correctly. The only remaining thing to verify would be your postback url, which you can't verify until you've made your first conversion (only then would you see whether it's being posted back to the tracker or not).
But even if the postback wasn't set up correctly, it will not prevent leads from being registered on the aff network, so no worries there.
To quickly get some conversions at this point (to verify your tracking setup + get a morale boost), I would suggest to run in geos that have really low-payout offers - typically these will be Bangladesh, Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia just off the top of my head (I'm sure I've missed some but these should be enough). Look for offers that have payouts of under 0.10 or even better, under 0.05. That way you can run a couple dollar's worth of traffic and start making conversions.
Although the direct-linking method does work, it will require tesing a TON of offers. I chose this method for the newbie tutorial mostly for the ease in setting up camps. It's a very good investment for learning how to analyze stats and learn how to cut stuff. For better profits potential, it would be wise to learn how to use landers. I'm actively working on more lessons to illustrate how to do that but it's delayed due to how difficult it is to come up with a one-size-fits-all/most method, but it will be done - and soon.
Before then, here's a post that have some useful links for you to get started on learning how to use landers:

Looking forward to further progress updates from you!
There is a steep curve to learning AM, and it will involve a lot of testing before finding something that works. But if you'd be willing to persevere, then I'll see you in the ocean!

**Update
Just want to thank everyone in this thread.
I took the advice and sorted through the top converting offers on
Feels good!!!!!!
Almost couldn't believe it when I saw the conversions column with a number other than 0 in it.
My campaigns aren't profitable, but I'm looking forward to actually having some data to work with now and learning more before I eventually start working with landers.
Thanks again everyone!
Very nice!!
The first conversion is a major milestone - because it's proof that revenues are possible, and that you've set up tracking etc. correctly.
The next major milestone will be your first profitable campaign - keep testing and you'll get there soon!
After that, it would just be a matter of figuring out how to do things more efficiently so that you can spend less time and money to yield more profits. All the best!
Amy
