Instagram Influencers
Hey everyone!!
Im doing a women fashion niche e comm store and im think of doing Instagram influencer marketing. Totally new to that, would like to ask several questions for a starter to IG marketing.
1. What is the engagement rate you guys look out for at the start?
2. Do you ship the products to the influencer? Or just a shout out ?
3. What is the price ratio for shout out. Eg. 100k followers is 100 dollars expensive or consider cheap?
4. Is followers to following ratio important?
Thanks guys! any input will be super useful to me!
Cheers all and have a great weekend!

Hi Zenith,
i'll try to answer your question as my experience in Instagram Marketing,
1. You should grow your follower first, so you can convince people that your page is real and no indication of scam.
2. Depend on you actually, if you want people look how your cloth when dressed by the influencer then send the product to them, if you want people just know that your page exist then just go shoutout (this one cheaper). But i suggest you send them the product to increase their confidence about your product and your store.
3. 100k followers for 100 dollars consider very cheap, but before do the shout out check their ratio of followers and their Like, to avoid bot followers.
4. very important! keep your following as low as you can.
so far my suggestion is you should grow your page first, by following people, comment and like. i really suggest you to use tool like followliker. grow your page first then do the shout out. if you do the shout out but your follower still low, it's not convincing them at all.
hope it help you.

I'd agree with the above and offer to send them product along with an affiliate link to make it worth their while. Unboxing videos for our subscriptions at paradisefibers.com have done wonders for us.

I would definitely ship the product to the influencer, and definitely hop on a skype call or whatnot with them to connect and chat them up.
Remember, the quality of the promotion depends on how much they like You, and the product, so its a little different that dealing with an ad network which only cares about dollaz

Definitely send them the product. Influencers are influential because people in whatever niche want to emulate them. An influencer will produce media for you which you'll be able to use indefinitely to promote your products to that niche.

Send the product. They are influencers because they influence and you want their followers to see they are using the product. It adds credibility.
