Pop Category targeting?
Hi guys,
are there any pop network that has category targeting? (for example. Popads)
Thanks!

Popads has category targeting.
How precise it is i am not sure, I always select all general or adult categories.
Tonic has targeting for domain redirects, not sure if they have it for pops as well.

You can find category targeting also on Popcash.
The precision depends on what the publisher himself enters when he is adding the site.
In other words I would not rely solely on category targeting.

Exoclick does as well - but only adult categories. (Actually most adult pop sources allow targeting by categories.)
They also allow targeting by keywords. Zeropark does as well (i.e. targeting by keyword).

Hello!
We offer IAB Category Targeting for CPV campaigns. IAB content taxonomy organizes websites into broad tier one categories and more niche tier two categories. You can use category targeting to broadly match websites related to a specific niche. When a user lands on one of the sites in your targeted category, your creative is eligible to pop!
Let us know if you have questions!

A good number of mainstream Pop traffic sources offer category targeting. As another alternative you will find category targeting in PopCash as well.
When it comes to filtering publishers I think it is mostly related to the categories assigned to a specific publisher.

That's true, we have targeting by keywords, which is pretty accurate and allows you even to make optimization by keywords. And the volumes we have are pretty impressive, you can check them
here.

The last time I did keyword targeting with a word that apparently had volume of more than 2million in Tier 1 with bid way above your suggested bid for premium camps, (I believe around 0.03) all I received was a daily trickle. Sent support 3 times and their replies were to increase bid? And their bid suggestions for me to increase were Alr lower than my bid. ?!

As for the suggested bid: it goes for RON campaigns mostly. In keyword campaigns the competition is higher because the targeting is narrowed down to some keywords, so increasing the bid doesn't sound like a bad idea. However, it is hard to judge upon your performance using only your single post on STM. Can you PM us your ZP email, so we could take a closer look?
