I want to keep my adwords accounts and other logins on different computers, so what company should I use thats the cheapest and best for this?
Also how do you usually connect to the computer? Just through remote desktop right? And these are called virtual machines not a VPS?
I would also assume they must have windows installed on them since I wouldnt know how to navigate on anything else really... And they have to have a fast internet connection imo?
Just a bit confused on all of this...
Thanks!
Use vmware and for every account, install a new windows on virtual machine, with own vpn/socks
Ok boiling it down to the simplest form:
A server is a dedicated machine in a data centre where the host you use usually has dozens up to thousands of these "boxes" installed. These servers are similar to your own machine at home with aprocessor, hard drive etc etc and vary in cost depending on the spec.
The host can split these servers up into virtual seperate machines with their own resources that only that machine can use and these are known as VPS or virtual private server.....a good host will not overload the original server by putting too many on there but a shitty host will overload it.
After a VPS you have shared hosting where thousands of people share the same server, this is the crappy hostgator stuff you get.
On a dedicated server or a VPS you can install a windows operating envorinment such as Windows server and you remotely login to get a desktop that looks similar to your windows machine at home, though you need to be clear why you would want to use this. In the past i have installed SEO soft such as SE Nuke in order to run it 24/7 as it then doesnt interfere with your home PC. You can install proxy switching software as well and benefit from having fresh proxies rather than using the one the server or VPS came with.
This may be where you are getting confused as there would be very little benfit of having a virtual windows environment to simply login to accounts. You could do this simpler by renting your own proxies or using a service like hidemyass and doing it on your pc at home. As long as you clear all cookies etc then you are normally safe enough depending on what you are doing. It all depends on what you are trying to achieve.
I setup my own VPS....I have 2 cheap windows boxes.....you can pick these up for dirt cheap like here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883108625
get a few static ips from your ISP......set each PC on its own ip.....
....install dropbox on each (easy file sharing)
remote in from your main PC.....and setup new everything.....user, gmail...adwords accounts etc....use the correct name for the CC you plan to use so everything matches....
this way you look 100% legit and your CC will be in the same billing area that the IP is......
also you won't be on a known data center.....even if you get a windows box on a data center it looks dif than a regular box....as its running windows server and its gonna have a weird host name.....google actively "fingerprints" your hardware when you use there platform...loggin in thru a a windows server can be a read flag....
if your account gets popped wipe the pc, get a new ip, remove the old users....make a new user.....and use a dif browser than you did the last time.....
if you do this correctly with a good google cloaker.....you will pay for that setup in a about an hour with a good camp on google....
