Netter e-wallet question
Hey guys,
I have a quick question concerning Netteler e-wallet, I will get straight to the point:
An advertiser that I've working with is having payment issues, and is not able to process wire transfers until further notice (could take another week, could take another month.. no one knows.)
In the mean time, the only payment option they have is Netteler.
Therefore am looking to open a Netteler account in order to get paid, however I am having some concerns:
I know that for example, if say I receive $5,000 immediately after opening a brand new Paypal account, the account will most likely be frozen/suspended immediately.
What about Netteler? Are they as strict when it comes to receiving amounts of $5,000 or higher immediately after opening an account?
If anyone has any experience working with this e-wallet, I would highly appreciate any form of assistance.
Thanks a ton!

Neteller is often used for gambling purposes - many online poker pros use Neteller and/or Skrill. Both have similar characteristics now.
Neteller always does an ID verification, so you can't get sent any amount and then ask for it to you bank account instantly. That said, I think it's a decent solution, although not super cheap - should still be better than PayPal.
When it comes to ID verification, I only know what they ask for a personal account:
1. Proof of address
2. ID verification
3. Perhaps a phone call with you.
I haven't had any issues with them in my poker playing days - their customer support is quite good and unless you are really trying something shady, you shouldn't have any issues. That said, if the person/company paying you is flagged in their system, you might have issues because of that.

Hi Manu,
Thank you for the information.
So basically - As long as I provide proper verification documents, there should be no issues receiving $5,000 or more to a newly created personal account?
Do you also happen to know of any popular ad networks that can accept netteler as payment options?
It might be easier for me to spend this money on ads, so it could later be converted to affiliate commissions and eventually sent in a wire transfer.
Thanks again, I really appreciate the help

You can get a prepaid credit card - which is basically like a debit card, and deposit anywhere they accept MasterCard. Aside from that, I don't know a specific traffic source that accepts Neteller unfortunately. I would assume some European based ones are more likely to do so.
Yes, as long as you provide docs, you are fine with it, pretty sure. They are somewhat used to higher risk accounts, they specialize in gambling, haha.

I created a Netteler account, and ironically the first thing that i noticed was a message written in bold saying: "members will no longer be able to transfer funds to or from online gambling websites"
Seems like maybe they actually want to become more strict when it comes to handling gambling accounts?
In any case, I'm out of options so i will just set up the account and hope for the best haha
Thanks again Manu!
