Mobile Landers - Any Feedback would Be Great!

Hello Everyone,

I am new here but loving this forum and the people on here are all so willing to help, awesome!!

I am fairly new to AM and made some ok money organically without relying on PPC.

But as we all know its a slow road to increased revenue plus at a moments notice google can take that all away.

Anyway, I am very much interested in perfecting the art of mob camps. I would like to get some in the green, regardless of $xx.

I understand some offers can convert well on direct linking and currently actively testing. (Using amy's method)

But would it be right in saying that you can get better results with a correctly angled/made pre lander?

Next question;

What are you using to make your prelanders? Do I need coding exp?
Who do you recommend to host the landing pages that have good speed?

If im inexperienced with doing this myself etc do I outsource all this? What would be the likely cost?

Outsourcing is ideally my last option as it increases my outlay before I even start a camp.

ok, one last question, when people refer to uploading scripts to their landers, does that mean popup & popunder?

Any guidance, feedback and suggestions on the above would be hugely appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Dave

Hey Dave,

First of all welcome to STM, nice to have you here!

Let me answer your questions below:

But would it be right in saying that you can get better results with a correctly angled/made pre lander?
Yes, landing pages can do wonders. You can frame the user and sell them, so they will be more ready for your offer.

Imagine these 2 situations:
1) you send 1000 random people by direct linking - yes all 1000 will see your offer, but they are not really into it and do not understand why do they see it, some may still stick and convert, but the chance is quite low
2) now you send 1000 random people to your landing page - now you sell to them and those who got interested will go through the lander and some of them will decide to signup to your offer, the number of people who saw your offer is lower, but the conversion rate can be much higher.

What are you using to make your prelanders? Do I need coding exp?
Any HTML editor will do the job. I personally use Sublime Text.
Some basic HTML/CSS/JS coding experience is preferred.
You can take courses online, some basics are really enough - so you can read and edit the code as most of the times you will be ripping other peoples landing pages and customising them

Who do you recommend to host the landing pages that have good speed?
CDN

If im inexperienced with doing this myself etc do I outsource all this? What would be the likely cost?
You can outsource on services like Upwork, the price really depends from who you hire.
But I would still recommend you to learn some basics, so once you get back your landing page you can review and understand if the job was done right.

ok, one last question, when people refer to uploading scripts to their landers, does that mean popup & popunder?
By scripts on landers they mean javascript code snippets such as: countdown timers, popup alerts, vibrations, sound, backbutton redirects etc.
This is all done by javascript and it's worth learning it as those scripts can give you a slight advantage. Or on the other side you can be able to remove "bad scripts" from landing pages of other affiliates.

Hope it helps.

Erik

Thank You Erik!!

I have sent you a friend request, be great to keep in touch if its not too much trouble.

All of the above makes alot of sense. Ill start dabbling with sublime.

Who do you host your websites with? do you then upload direct to the server via sublime?

Thank You Again,

Dave

Hey Dave,

I use Forklift app on Mac as they recently added RackSpace (they got also Amazon S3 support), but you can use also CyberDuck which is multi platform and free FTP client. Or the easiest way is just to upload through web interface.

Here's a guide to get started using a CDN for hosting, including uploading and so on: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...-Cost-Way-Ever!
