Hey guys i got a question about the whitelist campaign

Hey guys, when l set a dating popunder campaign in my traffic source(use my whitelist). At the first few days every things is great. But after first few days, the ctr drop a little (like 5%->4%, just a little), but the CR drop a large number(15%->5%), and it's not the offer's problem. This same offer's CR may be still 15% in other campaigns.

Question: I'm sure it's not the bot's problem, but why do the CR drop a lot? If the Ctr drop a lot , i can understand. Cos of people getting tired of my lander. But when they click through my questionnaire lander, answer those questions to the sign up lander. I think those people may all the first time to see my campaign.

And even i change the lander, the CTR may raised to 5% again, but the CR will still be 5%, (This same offer's CR may be still 15% in other campaigns.)
Or i change the offer, the CR will still be very low. The only way is to build a whole new campaign(new offer&new lander)

I'm not a native English speaker, but i try to make things clear and i hope you guys can know what i'm talking about.

Thanks

Your English is completely fine - I'm not a native English speaker either.

What you're describing, is actually typical of pop camps. It's a mystery why that happens (at least it's a mystery to me) - but most/all pop camps will go through this process - it's a natural dying process.

It's not likely for the CTR/CR drop to be due to saturation (people getting tired of your lander). Saturation doesn't happen suddenly, and landers don't burn out in a few days. (Banners....maybe. But not landers.)

Try the following:

1)Increase your bid. Sometimes the drop in performance is due to your being outbid. You can compare the before-and-after placement stats. Check which placements were giving you the highest CRs from before the drop. If you're no longer getting traffic from the good placements (or getting a lot less traffic from them now), that would be a sure sign that you've been outbid.

2)Reboot your camp. Put your camp on pause for 1-2 days, then turn it back on.

3)Clone your camp. This is similar to rebooting.

Best of luck!

My theory for this is like this :

There are a few groups of users in every source, for the sake of simplicity, let's shrink them down to 3 groups, though there are more :

1. those who don't care about anything that you want to sell them - this is the biggest group
2. those that somewhat care, but are hard to convert, since they wont fill out the required form from one reason or another - this is a medium sized group
3. those that are interested in a lot of offers and don't mind filling out some forms - this is the smallest group by far

When you come out with a new campaign, you will target all the 3 groups, 1st one will ignore you, the 2nd one will click your ads and LPs but will not complete the signup process, the 3rd group will give you conversions. The problem is, that the 3rd group is the smallest, so these users will "run out" the first ... Group 2 will continue to respond to your ads, but the less new users is left in group 3, the lower the CVR will be. The fact that the 3rd group is much much smaller than the other 2, makes it possible for the CTR to remain almost the same, while the CVR goes to shit.

We see a very similar situation with banners, I wrote an article on it some time ago, check it for more information : http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-down-and-down

@matuloo thanks for your reply, and i read your post, but in my case, seems like my offer's sign up lander also burnout. Did you have this situation? And what will your do?

@vortexHey man, thanks your reply. And "Rebbot your camp" is work for me in the past. But you say "landers don't burn out in a few days", I think you are talking about the banner display campaign. In my case, the lander do burn out at most in one week. And my offer burn out too. Sad, maybe i should try banner campaign now.

Anyway thanks

That shouldn't be the case, these usually last the longest ... but still, a lot of offers have multiple urls to use, try to rotate them. It's actually a good idea to always rotate stuff as much as possible as it extends the lifespan of any campaign. That's what I try to do with my campaigns too, I rotate several offer urls whenever possible. As long as a new one is published, I test it. If an offer doesn't have multiple urls, I try to look for similar offers to put into rotation ... there isn't any other way of fighting burnout on the same source actually, just rotating stuff as much as possible. When something stops working, you can still bring it back to life after some time has passed, that's another tactic I'm using with all creatives too.
