Fake Clicks Issue from RevContent

We are getting a big discrepancy in RevContent and Google Analytics data. In RevContent dashboard it shows that we got 260+ clicks while analytics only shows 15.

I contacted support they suggested to change the tracking parameter settings but still same issue.

Can anyone please help with this? or is this common for all.

Some widgets on revcontent sends huge amounts of bot traffic. Though revcontent has taken great steps during the last couple of years, you will still experience this now and then. Does the main amount of traffic come from one or two widgets?

Hey Mahendra, I've had this issue before when using a cloaker, specially when there is bot traffic involved. However, I believe you are not using a cloaker?..
Is the ID "307392" receiving any conversions, if not best to just blacklist it.

@mahendra almost every traffic source has poor placements that by the end of the day have only spent a considerable amount of your campaign budget without generating any revenue.

Here are a few criteria you might want to consider to identify Bot placements:
IF Content has more than 50 Clicks and Landing Page CTR is less than 10% with $0 Revenue --> Kill it.
IF Content has more than 50 Clicks and Landing Page CTR is greater than 75% with $0 Revenue --> Kill it.

The issue with RevC is also that they are sending bot traffic for almost each click. It's coming mostly from Amazon servers. It's quite difficult to filter it in tracker like Voluum, they've got bot filters, but it doesn't allow filter by ISP name. Instead you have to filter by IP (Amazon got a shit load of IPs), so what was recommended to me was doing it through their API.
