hey guys , i need some help about the daily budget for bh ads on facebook anyone have an idea how much i should raise the budget to keep under radar
some people say stay under 300 $ daily and some other say under 500 $ daily and i see other people running 1k + daily and seems not much a problem with
facebook anyone have a clear idea about it thanks appreciate your help !
I'm going to reference some information Zeno gave in his presentation at the Xi'an meetup last month, based on tips gleamed from the Facebook Mastery Live Event:
"-Don’t touch a working ad set other than budget adjustments – or pausing because a higher budget one is working
-For basic scaling, raise budget by 20% every second day
-If the CPA stays steady, you can scale again the next day
-Usually the CPA will rise and you have to wait for FB to bring it back down
-Want to know how much you can spend per day? $100/day per 100k audience size is a good rule of thumb
-At high budgets, ads will burn out after 7-14 days depending on the demographic. Be prepared with creatives – don’t be lazy"
Hope that helps!
Amy
Maybe this can help. iStack and Patrick Dermak produced a free 3-part FB course that shows you some golden nuggets about how he suggests scaling (and NOT making changes to ad sets!). https://go.istacktraining.com/amc-mi...vid-bg15938109
SCALING BH
When it comes to scaling, there are 2 main approaches:
1) Vertical Scaling
2) Horizontal Scaling
Each one of those approaches has his own PROs and CONs, BUT, you have to do both of them all the time.
Approach #1: Vertical Scaling
Vertical Scaling is pretty obvious, it's all about SPENDING MORE, means raising budgets on the same campaign / ad-set.
The way you scale with this approach is different per vertical / offer. It means you have to SPLIT-TEST in order to find what is the sweetspot of the amount you can spend.
2 things you need to know:
1. If you are a good media buyer, the more you spend, the more profits you should make.
2. You should know that the FASTEST you scale, higher costs you get, lower ROI, but higher volumes.
You mentioned that you asked few people how much budget they set per campaign. It basically means nothing. Why? - Again, every GEO/Vertical/Angle is DIFFERENT! I would suggest you to take 5 accounts, try different angles, or try what's working for you already, and find the sweetspot. How much you can spend a day, and for how many days you can.
Approach #2: Horizontal Scaling
When it comes to BH on FB, Horizontal Scaling is getting more accounts and having more campaigns. Like Zeno mentioned, you always have to have new creatives/angles under your sleeve, specially in smaller GEOs.
I really hope it helped in some way.
If you scale on one account big time, you will fly on the radar of FB. That means quick ban on ads + account.
Try to spread the same campaigns on more accounts with lower budget. In theory you can do even more than on one account, on a longer term, without risking you get banned too much. Also you don't have to be afraid CPC cost will raise in a wink of an eye. So if you don't have access to internet for some days you will still bank like a steady eddy.
every other day, ideally slower depending on cost / engagement
40 > 120 > 340 > 500 > 650 max
When you have demo of 10mil and high ROI's(at least 500), aggressive scaling can be rewarding also. Going from 200 budget(running 3 days to safe lander) to 4k budget. But only use this when you have enough accounts, as 1/3 lasts 10k+ total spend. Some unicorns even might go to 50k.
