Zeropark and Adult no good?

Hello guys,

What are your experiences with Zeropark for Adult traffic?

I ran a few campaigns but the quality seems to be very low.

Thanks

Can only say that it's really possible to earn well there, if you find a profitable niche, like on any other traffic source. Try different Geos, different angles, test the placements. Definitely there might be an opportunity.

Zeropark has a shit-ton of poor placements, in both their adult and mainstream inventory ... I wouldn't say there is higher quality traffic in either of them. It's all about coming up with the right funnel and cutting the very poor placements.

If you are looking for similar type of adult traffic, try plugrush for example, I had better results there.

Thanks Matuloo, which sources apart from Plugrush are good?

I use Trafficholder as well and for some reason i am unable to find large quantities of high quality there either.

With adult, I've had better luck with Zeropark+smartlinks than the other places I've tried adult, including Exoclick. (Although to be honest that has usually just meant breaking even; I'm workin' on it!) Probably because I've had more experience with ZP than with any other traffic source besides Propeller Ads, which I believe doesn't do adult.

But there are definitely a ton of placements there and Sturgeon's Law applies. It can get frustrating.

It depends largely on what kind of traffic you are after ... zeropark, plugrush, trafficholder and similar networks sell the lowest quality traffic : pops, 404s, domain redirects, skimmed traffic ... this traffic is short of any real targeting, there is no pre-selling ... so it will also have low conversions.

For better targeting, you need to test banners - trafficjunky, trafficfactory, trafficstars, exoclick (largest) are all solid adult sources and there are some more.

I wrote several threads about adult traffic, check them out : http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-ADULT-Traffic this might be handy too : https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...here-you-start!

Thanks again.

One last question with regards to Zeropark, what do you advise for running affiliate campaigns, Premium or Standard traffic?

Zeropark has Premium recommended but it seems rather expensive for us affiliates?

This is always specific to a particular campaign, you need to test it and see for yourself. Since traffic is sold in auction, the max price should more or less be equal to what someone can make from it ... at least in the long run. SO if it works for someone, it could work for you too. You are right that affiliates are a bit handicapped against direct advertisers who get to keep the whole margin... but then again, a clever and skilled affiliate can usually outperform a less motivated hired mediabuyer ... it's all about testing. Never assume that a higher priced traffic type cannot work for you, it's often the very opposite
