Banned for literally no reason

Hey guys,

no clue why my accounts got banned for no reason i thought maybe someone would know why this happened.

My Ad account 1 had ads running but i decided to pause them as i was going on a 5 day vacation and wanted to resume once i returned.

I logged in and it said flagged for policy violations when there was no ads running.

So then I decided to start warming up my second ad account which i hadnt even started running anything on there. I start creating a post engagement to warm it up. I didnt even submit this campaign and this got flagged too!!

Not sure whats going on. Is it possible the reason could be for not logging on for a week?

Thats the only thing i can think of.

Thank you!!
Carolyn

This unfortunately happens ...

It could be for a number of reasons, these bans are mostly done by computer algorithms and your account somehow got caught up

Are you sure the paused ads were 100% compliant? I've had plenty of checks with various ad networks on paused campaigns.

The paused ads were not 100% compliant but I didnt know it can still get banned even though its not active. I can understand if this account got banned but dont understand why my second account got banned when i havent used it yet?

They are most likely tied to you or are deemed to be suspicious due to similarities with the banned account.

Banned for literally no reason

"Warming up your second account"

"Paused ads were not 100% compliant"

I would suggest giving another traffic source a go, perhaps look into native (revcontent or taboola) as it will be much simpler to run similar campaigns to get started, then transition to Facebook once you have things figured out.

^^ spot on. Take Facebook seriously Carolynnn, it's not that easy anymore.

It would seem that as a part of FB's initiatives in cracking down on blackhat camps, they're taking a second look at a lot of camps - even ones that aren't active.

I logged into my personal account today and got a notification that a camp got rejected - then saw that it was a camp that's been on pause for the last 3 years.

As for your second account - are you sure there aren't ANY footprints that may have connected it to your first account?

It's hard to say for sure why ANYTHING is happening anymore when it comes to FB. Everything is changing so quickly recently. Options: Either jump through hoops to please FB, become more skilled at covering your tracks, or diversify into other traffic sources.

You must have left a footprint or did something to trigger their algo, but it's actually not your fault. The same thing happened to me recently and it happened on an agency. You can either send a message to Facebook and tell them what happened, and most likely you'll receive a negative response, after which new accounts you launch might work again; or get a fresh start. New account, new computer, new everything.

Facebook have been pretty ruthless in the past couple weeks. Not that you can't run anymore, but they have been banning left and right even when it's uncalled for. You gotta deal with it.

I don't know if you already do this but if you are not using different domains/trackers and different credit cards for your different facebook accounts than its pretty easy for them to say that these are connected to the same person, and the automatic algorithms will probably freeze all accounts connected to a suspicious one.

Yeah its not that easy to get a second account running. There is a whole proccess to go through to make a new one, trust me on this.. There is a reason why ad accounts go for 1k+ price.

It needs to be aged, activity levels solid, IPs solid and much more.
