New and broke!

Trying to find out if there is a way to start making money with no money (other than the money spent to join this forum) and if so, where is the link?

It's definitely not affiliate marketing. In this day and age any "free" approaches are likely to be slow, painful, unreliable and ultimately waste your time.

I would suggest doing freelancing e.g. Upwork/Fiverr etc. if you have some skills you can leverage, or get a normal job and earn some savings.

Affiliate marketing -- at least the form this forum focuses on, is something that should be pursued with funds you can afford to lose. You'll want to build those up first.

You can probably make some money with little money. However, this can take a long time. If you go this route, you should do so knowing that this should really just for learning purposes, and that it will take a very long time to make significant money.

That said, if you are not in any big hurry, that is not a bad route to at least get your feet wet, before you decide to make the plunge. Just as you should probably practice in the $5 poker tables before playing at the $500 or $5000 tables, spending some time doing small scale AM activities will help you figure out how things work without putting too much money at risk.

You can certainly try to maximize sign up bonuses from traffic sources. You can also spend a lot of time on SEO. Some inexpensive hosting plans also have signup bonuses as well. There are some older trackers which are free as well.

That said, this route will not make you the next STM millionaire. You will definitely learn about AM.

However, my sense is that you will most likely find that in terms of the hours you put into this, you may not end up with much more than what you would have gotten working an entry level job.

Guys above me summed it up pretty nicely.

You could do SEO stuff to build smaller passive income, but to enter the world of paid AM, you need to save up some capital first - let's say $3000 would be a good sum to work with.

But as cmdeal outlined : you can play with cheaper AM activities during that time and learn the whole optimization process.

The easiest way to generate a nice starting budget is to pick a niche and hustle out youtube videos for 100 days.

Pick a niche that has a lot of products/services with affiliate programs.

Paste this link under your youtube videos, and be transparent that you get a commission from that.

Provide value to people, build a following and they'll sign up with your links.

Of course it will be hard and a lot of work, but it literally cost you $0. Just your time, which is not worth much now.

The biggest challenge will be to educate yourself in this niche to actually provide value.

If you have a good level of English, a computer and an Internet connection it's basically impossible to not be able to make money working online. You might not always get paid as much as you think you deserve or want, but you will make some money in exchange for your time.

Like the others said, it's not easy to decide which, because someone new without other opportunities is going to have to price themselves quite cheap to begin with.

If I were you, I would probably look to freelance for tasks and jobs related to what I want to do long term - for AM it can be copywriting, graphic design, coding, maybe you even find something to do with media buying directly.

You won't get rich this way but you will learn relevant skills and also get paid for that. You will also learn to manage yourself, which is a big part of being an affiliate.

I believe Appness lets you use their Facebook account. You come up with creatives, they optimize the campaigns and pay you 70% of the profit made from your ads.

If you're new, it might be worth a try.

How exactly does this work? They take on all the risk, and I get paid 70% profit share?

Where do I sign? Haha

Get a job, save $5000, join STM again and do what is thought using Paid Advertisements, Web Hosting, Voluum and Adplexity
