Exoclick Ban. Help?
Just signed up for ExoClick, deposited $200, and setup a campaign. Said it was processing... then I get this email. Thoughts? Says they don't enter into discussions on checks they carry out.... And it was a DL campaign so I can't imagine I broke TOS.
Hello Scott,
As a new client to ExoClick we undertake a number of verification checks to ensure the company and existing clients are not at risk.
We regret to inform you that we were unable to get through this process and your account has been closed. Don't worry, your funds will be returned to you within 1-2 working days.
Please note we do not enter into discussions about the checks we carry out, or what prevented you from working with us.
We do however wish you the best of luck in your future business plans.
Kind regards,

I would suggest putting together a scan of your credit card (one used, in your name - with middle digits hidden) and passport. Send them an email with this, along with an an overview of the campaign you would like to run. Link to a copy of your example creatives and landing pages

Sometimes, it's possible to get an account with them, even after an initial rejection like this one. What nickpeplow mentioned could definitely help. The offer itself might not be the problem, could be that you are from a country with higher fraud level, so they are extra cautious. Do you happen to know someone who runs decent volume with exo? Sometimes a reference like that can help - even a reference from some affiliate network, that could show decent volumes, could help you.

Appreciate the replies. I followed your advice already, Nick, but no response in 48 hours. My guess is that the issue might be that I am using an American credit card and my IP is in Vietnam....? If anyone knows how to get hold of a real person there via skype or email I'd be VERY grateful!

Yup, this could be the problem indeed, did you try to explain them that you are an American who is living in Vietnam now? They are reasonable people, just trying to protect their platform.

Exoclick had serious issues with Vietnamese scammers, like repeatedly for half a year, creating new and new accounts and sending them fake traffic. It cost me and other advertisers a lot in wasted budgets. I wouldn't be surprised if they do not accept anyone that has anything to do with Vietnam. Using American details/ID with Vietnamese IP is even bigger red flag than if you used some Vietnamese name.

Excellent, let me know if you could resolve it, I have some contacts there too, so if all fails ... I might try to ask about your case too. It also always helps to meet them face to face at some webmaster/affiliate conference ... they attend pretty much all of them.

I"m pretty sure I remember when I signed up with exoclick that you weren't actually allowed to direct link. I think its something to do with the way google ranks those sites that have the popup show up on them.

Don't remember a rule like this, I know they had limits like "no additional pops" on the target page etc ... might have changed though, it's been a while since I last bought some POPs from exo.

Although I responded them for some sort of explanation and to resolve whatever the problem is, I doubt they will respond me.
Can anyone give an advise on how to get my account verified?

What country are you from and how did you fund your account?
I think they don't readily accept accounts from certain countries.

Exoclick is doing this from time to time, I'm not entirely sure what triggers the alert, but it does happen. What I've advised a few people and it helped, was to meet with their reps in person at some conference ... as soon as they see you are a legit person willing to do biz and not some kind of fraud, they usually let you in. Having good connections in the biz is a plus too, if you have a friend that is with exo for a while and could vouch for you ... that can help too. Or simply start with a different network and get back to them a bit later, when you have some "spend screens" to show. They are not the only network and they aren't the "best" either, so you can start without them without any problem.
