I'm looking to split test a few offers that can use the same ads. Is it fine to have Prosper split these up in even proportions, or should I just make a different copy of the ad for each offer/LP?

FB is generally fine with it, split testing is part of marketing and they know this. It may pay to have both versions running during approval to make sure you know they are both approved.
I would use one ad and split/rotate on the back end. Different copies of the same ad will pull different CTRs and generally give you an uneven traffic distribution and slightly different CPCs. I've also seen identical ads pulling wildly different conversion rates at the offer (e.g. 8.3% versus 5.8% with 500+ clicks of data), which may just be random or due to slightly differing average placement of each ad. I wouldn't want all of this contributing to the stats/EPCs for your landers so better to have the same source being split at the LP.
