How do you search for your vertical or offer on Adplexity?

Hello!

Looking to rip some landers in the sweeps vertical for tier 3 GEOs.

The issue is: I don't understand how to find landing pages promoting your offer.

I've read Aplexity tutorial about a hundred times and even contacted support

They told me to use the 'tracking domain of my offer". I asked if this was it: "http://www.rotationurls.com/offer/119366|13537?data1=Track1&data2=Track2&tag={Extern al_ID_from_traffic_source"

They said no. Super confused, that's the link my offer showed, once I got approved.

Here's the corresponding part of the Adplex tutorial that backs up what their support said:

So to make a long story short:

- How do you find the "final offer your URL is pointing to", so you can tap it into the advertiser search filter? The one in their example has been retrieved from an already loaded landing page's Outgoing URL Redirect Chain...what did they type in or search for to get to that page?

- Also, how do you search via the "Offer ID"? I can't find any part of my above link that has an offer ID similar to what they have in their tutorial.

Is the offer ID the same as the number in the square I've drawn? Or are they not related? Tried searching this via Adplex but didn't find landing pages that were related.

Any of you pro's out there, feel free to step in and help out so this little nooblet can stop laying noob-eggs all over the place.

Thanks!

Hey @walkfasttalkslow!

Sometimes it might be tricky, but let me guide you a bit:

This is from @Mobidea right?

What I would do in this case is to navigate to "BY ADVERTISER" tab and enter "http://www.rotationurls.com" into the search bar and select "all of the above".

Then you should get all results in Adplexity for this domain.

You will get all results from all countries, so what I would do next is to check the country checkbox in the sidebar.

Unfortunately it's problematic here as Adplexity doesn't have Kenya in supported countries.

For this offer there will be no results anyway simply because Kenya is not scraped.

You could try a similar offer in a supported country and then rip those landers (if it works in 1 geo, it should work in another too, but do not forget to translate / match the language)

Otherwise (if its not Kenya, but a country supported by Adplexity like Brazil) I would go through the results and see what is there.

The point is that even if you do not find the exact offer by URL, you can use your common sense and filter down to see the desired results in the sidebar -> by country, by carrier (that the offer takes) etc.

Thanks Erik - much appreciated! Yes it's a Mobidea offer.

So if I was targeting landers in Brazil and using "http://www.rotationurls.com", this should, more or less, show all Brazilian offers from Mobidea? Then its up to me to sift through them and find offers which are relevant to my vertical? (using Google translate etc)

Seems like spy tools require more estimation than simply locking on to exact landers? Thanks again for the help man

Yes, sometimes you just need to go through the results -> it's quite easy to see the vertical (win iphone vs antivirus landers for example).

A better way is to get to the final offer url after redirects.
This is sometimes hard as networks are using geo IP detection and they show you different results as to someone in the desired geo.
You can try to use VPN, but even that sometimes doesn't help (as it needs carrier IP).
In that case you would enter the offer url and do the same -> then you should see just results for those who run the exact same offer.

Alright cool, I'm gonna try this method.

BTW is there any reason why there's multiple Outgoing URL Redirect Chains for just one lander? Thought landers were only meant to direct users to one specific place

Answer is simple: Affiliate are split testing several offers
