SelfAdvertiser and Adf.ly

Hey guys, I was thinking about testing SelfAdvertiser and Adf.ly for Pop traffic (and interstitials for AdFly).

Anyone have any experience with them? Is traffic generally any good?

Going to test a bunch of different ones eventually but downloads and installs for desktop to start with.

SelfAdvertiser I've had good experience with. Adf.ly - not so good, but then I haven't done any extensive testing there.

The point is you cannot really do any proper testing on Adf.ly. Either you accept all of their traffic or you don't, no pub optimization etc. It can work but maybe it is not worth the effort.

I use adf.ly to mix in traffic to some of the offers.

Also, my warm feelings about them are tied to a small experiment which I spent 400 euro on. Got no reasonable results. But the next year I got an email from one of affiliate programs I used during that experiment, with "Where do we send your commission" subject Curious, I replied to affiliate manager, and he told me that there were over 10k euro in poker commission sitting in my account (which I completely forgot about)... Was, sort of, thankful to adfly since then.

But still, this story is an example of whale hunting with a knife. Sometimes you get lucky
