CPV Labs vs Voluum 2017

Hello everyone, which tracking software would you use today CPV Labs or Voluum ?

CPV Lab was an awesome tool when it was new, but these days it lacks some of the features that modern trackers like Voluum provide. It still does the job, but if you plan to focus on mobile, I would choose Voluum instead.

Another big difference is that CPVLab is a self-hosted solution, so you need a VPS or dedicated server to host it, which ads one more issue to worry about - it's not some strategy, but you need to keep that in mind anyways. Voluum is a hosted tracker (also called cloud) so you don't need to worry about hosting issues or scalability problems.

Then again, CPVLab is a one time charge, while voluum charges monthly.

In case you decide to go with a cloud tracker, take a look at AdsBridge too. For a self hosted alternative, I;d recommend Funnel Flux.

I'm not sure if CPVLab is even still developed (the last release email I got from them is 1+ year old, v3.0.1), but when I last used it it lacked a lot of cool features that Voluum already had like top notch GEOIP with mobile carriers database and advanced rules support.

I think who promote this tracker these days is mostly because of the nice commission they are paying out.

I would rather recommend to checkout one of the modern trackers as Matej above pointed out.

Just my 2 cents.
