Which offers/ traffic sources are most stable? (9)

Which offers/ traffic sources are most stable?

I'm looking for offers that are the most stable and that will continue to deliver income for a long time without continual tweaking and changing ads. I'm fine with earning less as a result. I just want to go down a path that's more consistent.

And what about traffic sources. Are there some that are less volatile than others?

That's very hard to answer in a general sense because the traffic source is not the only issue.

The offer types that are available also heavily influence stability. In general, you should really not try to think too much of it being stable, but being profitable with a lower risk than others.

Basically traffic and offers go together and something very stable and profitable, like mobile utility apps on pops, can be gone in a blink of an eye.

What you should look for is processes that can be applied to more sources and offer types. I know it's not as concrete of an answer as one would expect but that is the truth. It's also quite common that white hat techniques are more sustainable long term although they have lower ROI for the most part.

Physical products tend to be more stable.

As for digital products - clickbank products for example would be more stable than the sweeps/antivirus/mobile content offers everyone's used to running.

Problem is the products above tend to be more niche. If you're running search or FB traffic though, those may be good choices.

If you want to stick with broad-intent products - brand-name antivirus products like Norton/Avira are as stable as it gets. But the trouble with those is the advertisers are very strict about how you promote their products, as they have a reputation to uphold. Mackeeper is another pretty stable product. Basically offers that have been running for a while tend to be more stable. However, saturation can be an issue.

There are also gaming subscription sites like EA or Gameloft that were stable performers for a long time. I don't know if you can still find them on affiliate networks - you can check on offervault.

As for traffic sources - if you want longevity, definitely stay away from pop traffic. Mobile display traffic can perform pretty consistently. I have camps I haven't touched in months still running and making money on mobile display sources. Adwords and FB camps can last quite a long time as well - but of course how broad/narrow you're targeting will matter, mainly due to a concern with saturation as mentioned above.

Another alternative if you want to introduce more consistency to your income, would be to run revshare offers that can provide residual income. Stuff like adult cam offers or gambling offers or ecommerce store offers. Sure enough, you'll need to invest upfront to acquire the customers, and not all of them will continue to subscribe month after month or pay time after time. But some of them will. And as the number of referrals grows, your residual income will grow as well. And when you have residual income coming in every month, you'd feel less badly when your other campaigns are going through a snag or are otherwise not doing too well.

This is helpful knowledge that has saved me a lot of time and effort, thanks to both of you! Just a question...

What kind of processes are you referring to?

One obvious one is testing offers process.

I am referring to more general business processes though, from the core business (in this case, marketing), to general things like accounting, hiring, training new employees, etc.

If you can have a defined process for each employee in your company, and then can train anyone to do it, you have a pretty good machine there. This is a bit idealistic but I hope you get my point about processes.

There are some general tips that I can give you, but Amy actually covered a lot of them ... FB, Google and Bing are the most stable traffic sources. Large names in adult are also stable, so exoclick, trafficjunky, trafficfactory ... there are few of them. Display DSPs are also ok, check out go2mobi or avazu dsp for mobile display traffic...

When it comes to products it's quite easy, the more value a product actually provides to the users, the more stable it tends to be... So fake antivirus software isn't exactly what you should be aiming for. Tangible products with real value, education or training programs with real value ... dating offers with real users ... I'm sure you see where I'm going with this.

There is one problem ... the most legit products usually convert worse than the shady ones, which also influences the bidding situation at any network.

Hi. We have great results in the last 10 years with sweepstakes offers - lead gen and pin submit. Those offers are long lasting (hardly stop)and everybody wants to win something so there is always demand for them.

Flows are very simple (pin submit) and payouts can get up to $27.

Galaxy 8 and iPhone 7 are the top offers globally and some offers are more localized (as supermarkets vouchers).

Here are our top mobile subscription sweepstakes offers in the last 7 days:
