Hello guys,
It is hard to ignore the buzz about how people are making a killing with ecommerce.
I have been trying it with Facebook Ads. I have a lot of add to cart events but only a small portion of the users are purchasing my products.
It is in average 8% conversion to purchase from those who added to cart.
Is it something I should worry about? What is the ideal conversion rate that is acceptable?
a LOT of people will add to cart - only a fraction will buy. Around 10% is normal but you can increase it by getting these two apps:

https://apps.shopify.com/cart-persistify
I think the answer is relative to many variables. We are seeing some products and adsets doing good volume with ATC to Purchases in the 30-50% range.
