Tracker is only reporting 'visits' - no costs or anything else.

Hello there,

Launched my first camp today following Vortex's awesome guide. Launched about ~ 4 hours ago. Voluum is updating visits as Propeller Ads does...but all other values remain 0.

Think I've made a newbie mistake in the technical side of tracking.

Propeller Ads is showing my visits, costs etc:

But Voluum only shows visits, not costs etc:

Here are some other screenshots you might find helpful:

Also, I have a weird-looking tracking link. Looks nothing like the one in Vortex's guide.

Campaign is currently paused.

Thanks for reading !

** also - 'Cost Model' doesn't let me tick the 'auto' box. It's currently grayed out.

Hello! Nice to see that you're taking action!

It's normal for Voluum to only show visits. Most traffic sources do not provide the option to pass costs to the tracker, and propeller is one of them. This is also probably why you can't select "auto" in "cost model".

The only exceptions when it comes to the popular pop sources, are popads and zeropark. Voluum can track Zeropark costs perfectly because they belong to one company so Voluum "has access" to Zeropark stats. As for PopAds, they provide a token you can put into Voluum to track costs - but the costs that show up in Voluum tend to be inaccurate, and can be off by as much as 100% (i.e. you could be spending as much as twice the amount reflected by Voluum).

Can you please paste it here? You can obfuscate the link by changing up a couple of characters - I'd still be able to see the structure/format. What's so weird about it? Also, have you checked stats at Mobidea to see if the traffic actually reached the right offer? If it did, then your tracking link must have been correct.

Ah okay, good to hear it wasn't a mistake on my end!

Sorry I meant my postback URL: (slightly obfuscated)

http://broger-versiperb.com/postback...&txid=OPTIONAL

and then my secure postback URL looks more like yours. It contains: "voluumtrk2.com" in the first half.

The domain name is fine - it's your custom domain name which you've added to Voluum settings to use for tracking purposes.

However, you need to replace "REPLACE" and "OPTIONAL" with actual token variables. Which aff network are you using?

Just remembered I wrote a step-by-step guide for Voluum - you can find it here:
