Hi,
I learnt a lot from STM forum, meet some cool new friends here too. I joined the 6wamc and learnt a lot too.
At first I ran pop traffic, hit $400 profit a day, then I realized it has a low roof, so I stopped it and moved to Native traffic, hit $1,000 profit a day yesterday. I believe that E-Commerce is the trend, so I jump right in, spent some time on it to see how to make it work. Here is my follow along. Please give advice, thank you cool guys.

My Niche: Clothes, Focused on Matching Outfits of parents & kids.
Shipping: Drop shipping from AliExpress
Yesterday I started an Ad Campaign in Facebook. It’s a video Ad, showing slideshow of the clothes.
Ad Text:
Very Nice!
Based on suggestions I've received from experts on here I will point out what stands out to me.
-Your Product Description/Ad copy seems like the default description provided by Aliexpress. Needs work. I recommend reading CASHVERTISING (free pdf version on google https://manofsteelsuperman.files.wor...hvertising.pdf)
-You could also play around with pricing - make your list price higher to reflect a 50% discount
that's it. as far as FB Ads I'm in the process of learning that myself right now.
I recommend reading Caurmen's Ecommerce Cookbook (sticky) If you haven't already.
Good Luck!
I have a 3% conversion rate on my main site, which is pretty good for ecommerce standards.
This would mean that if I woould have had your traffic, I would have had 0 conversions.
In other words, there's not enough traffic to conclude anything, but that's doesn't mean you should continue on this path.
I think the niche is good - my son and I have a motorcross T-shirt and he absolutely loves it when we both wear it. So I can see this work.
Not sure about your audience selection - women 18 to 65+ with a 1 or 2 year old. Really - a 65 year old with a 1 or 2 year old baby/kid? I am sure Facebook filters it out to match, but still. To me, it says something about your knowledge of the target group.
I am pretty sure you don't have kids. Otherwise you would know that an ad that shows clothes for a 1 year old, would not work for a 2 year old, nor a 3 nor a 4 year old. At these ages 1 year age difference is massive.
You should really narrow things down and make the ad more specifically target the kids' specific age.
Also, I would buy some of this stuff and find people on the street or in your circle of friends and family and do some sort of make over. Get their reviews, pictures etc. Shoot a simple video with your phone
Make this stuff come alive with real people and real stories.
Use those in your Facebook campaigns and see how that does (I bet they'll do very well).
Make sure you get their permission of course.
Good luck!
You're welcome and let us know how it works out if / when you make any changes.
The key is targeting. There are three elements: the product, the targeting and the creatives. You can find the product and the creatives by spy tools, make sure they are proven. The only moving part is the targeting, which is tricky. How can I improve the skill of targeting?
