What's the percent of bot traffic on Native Traffic Sources?

I ran pop sources in the past months. This vaule is maybe average 30% bot traffic in pop sources.

I want to know the percent of bot traffic on native traffic sources like revcontent, content.ad ...?

Anyone can share this?

Thank you!

It's quite hard, if not impossible to give an average for something like "native traffic" ... it's different from one network to the next, from one widget to the next ... it's pretty much the same situation as with pop sources, you simply have to run some tests and block widgets as needed. I didn't run all that much native, but from what I've seen, I would say there is a bit less bots than in pops. But take this with a grain of salt, I certainly didn't test ALL native networks or a large part of native traffic in general.

Bot traffic can be quite high, however on many sources you don't pay for all of it (e.g. Revcontent / content.ad).

So on Voluum you may have 100k impression, on the traffic source you only get billed for 60k.

But you will still pay for some.

Especially if you start out without blacklist on all channels you would get lots of bot traffic (can easily be 30%+).

So always try to get a basic blacklist from an account manager or target specific channels with high quality targets to reduce the bot invasion.

Usually less than on pop. However, as stated above, there will always be some. Worst bot placements I've seen are on Adcash.

The bad thing are new placements added daily so if you're running RON it is best to monitor is basically daily.

Impossible to answer this question. Its phrased too general. Its like asking "how fast can a car drive?"

Depends on many factors e.g. the network, specific traffic source (site), placement, widget, etc. etc.

It really varies from my experience. However. the "higher" quality sources like Outbrain and Taboola have much less compared to sources composed mainly by torrent / warez sites.
