Split test ads - what's the best way?

What's the best way to split test ad creatives in FB?

if I want to test 2 different images, do I simply setup 2 different images at the ad level and see what the winner is? Is it as simple as that?

ALWAYS split test at the ad set level. If you run multiple ads in an adset the data will be skewed by facebook's algorithm, which optimizes very early and aggressively.

So basically duplicate the ad set interests but change the ad creative?

Let me see did I understood this well So if I want to test 10 pictures, I would need 10 ad sets with same targeting and in each ad set one ad with different picture?
