Hi everyone, I've been testing this one offer (after split testing multiple offers and found this to be the best one), and it's also the top anti-virus offer on the network by revenue generated.
However, everytime I launch a campaign to this offer testing landing pages, it always comes out to about 0.01% conversion rate (conversions/visits to popunder lander). And ROI always ends up being -95% to -80%.
Does this mean the offer isn't good anymore? Due to other competitors running it or is it because I'm not testing enough landing pages?
I'm using the top mobile carrier and device btw (paused all others).
I'm getting clicks on all my landers but conversion rate is just low, and it's getting hard to make decisions on winning landers due to low conversion volume.
Hello!
1st of all I recommend to search the offer link in SPY-Service and to find which LP people're using now for this offer. Copy 5-10 LPs from TOP and run them. The same thinks with sources.
What source are you using now?
I highly recommend to try at least 2-3 of them for start. Popads, popcash, propeller are very good for this type of offers,
@ gracieg Hello)
First of all try to find the right LP, from our experience even same offer converts in different ways depending on LP. Also better to try different types of traffic, I mean cheaper or more expensive - anyway everything is needed to be test to find the optimal pararemters for your campaigns.
Usually anti-virus offers make really good profit on pops.
BTW, on pur platform you can get personal AM, sure our guys will help you to find the best LP and advice good targets and rates.
Good luck
All great advice in the posts above!
Personally I wouldn't get hung up on one offer. Testing broad and zooming in on the promising gems is my style.
If you really can't make an offer work, it may be better to just move onto other offers.
Just because an offer has made it to the top offers list, doesn't mean you will have success with it.
You don't know what landers they're running - heck you don't even know IF they're even using legitimate landers! They may be using blackhat tactics which you're not (and I'm not just talking about cloaking misleading landers with logos on them - that's child's play compared to some of the other tactics being used). They may have access to exclusive traffic that has high quality and/or cheap prices (due to special relationships with traffic sources, or buying in bulk, or even because they have access to free traffic from their own websites). Or, they may not be running pop, but other types of traffic that has higher quality.
And these are just a few possibilities/examples.
All it takes for an offer to end up on the top offers list, is one affiliate doing volume.
Having said that - there's no harm in trying to see what you could be doing better. I would definitely try MrBraun's suggestion of doing some spying to see if you find anything. Keep in mind though, that if the person's cloaking, that the landers you see may not be the ones they're actually using. And if they have special deals with the traffic network, there's no way for you to know. But it may be worth ripping their landers and try running on the same network just to see if you get better performance than what you've been getting.
Have fun experimenting! But be careful about spending too much money trying to make one offer work, unless you're confident that it's worth all the effort.
