I cannot access to the offer's landing page

Hi there,

I am trying to access the offer's landing page so that i can get its URL and search on Adplexity to get some ideas about which landers work with the offer.

But I cannot access to the page of the offer. Instead, the chain keeps redirecting me to some other pages I have no clue about. This is an erotic offer so I do not thing that the final URL is a plugin for google Chrome to update sports news.

Eventhough I turn on the VPN (I am using ExpressVPN), it seems not to work at all.

There only one reason I can probably think of:

The offer is designed for mobile and a specific carrier so if my connection is not from that carrier (even if VPN turned on), it will not land on the right landing page.

I am truly sick of the redirect chains and want to land on the right landing page of my offer. Is there any tips to do this ?

Regards,
Tien

Hey!

Many advertisers use services to convert not-targeted, back traffic (monetizer etc).
This service sees that you're not a real user in this country. So to see the page you have to set local IP (some advs have VPN data-bases, so it can be hard to see the offer), OS, Device and other settings.

The best way to ask your AM to give you the final link or to ask some people in the country you need and give them a link.

Hi mrbraun

Thanks for your insightful note. I wonder if these services you mentioned like monetizer can bring profit to me if someone opt-in or the advertiser will rip them all.

Monetizer, or any other monetizing solution, detects the info about any particular user and redirects them to an offer that shows the best performance for such users. So, you will still get credit for those conversions/leads, it just might differ from what you expected originally.

To answer your original question : you are most likely testing a carrier billing offer, so you're being redirected to a fallback offer, since you're not connected via the proper carrier. To see the real offer page, you need to either emulate the proper carrier (some agent emulators can do that, or special carrier focused VPNs that are very expensive), have the SIM card of that carrier ... or ask someone on fiverr (for example) to check the offer out for you.

What's your vertical? When in doubt, I'd just use the shotgun approach, by testing all offers for that offer type in my target geo, that I can find on the aff networks I run with. Spying and intelligence-gathering can and will indeed narrow down the amount of stuff you need to test, but in cases where you can't find any/enough intel, the shotgun approach can make for a good fall-back plan.
