HIGH CTR AND LOW CPC - NO CONVERSIONS! what is going on?

Hey guys! I would really appreciate any feedback I can get.

So I started this Facebook campaign 2 days ago. Running Poland - iPhone 7 Sweeps

After 1,074 visits to my landing page and 229 visits to my offers which gives me 21% CTR on Voluum and still no conversions! I dont understand what could be the problem.

Day 1
1 Lander
3 Offers - Poland - iPhone 7 Pin submits - $4 payout
Spending $25 a day on traffic
no conversions

Day 2 - rotated 3 more offers.
still no conversions

Is it possible all the offers are not good?

Thanks a lot!!

Did you check the affiliate network as well to see if maybe the postback is the issue and you actually have conversions?

Overall, it's not unheard of 200 visitors to have 0 conversions, but generally not from good quality FB traffic, more in pops and sometimes depending on the technique used in display.

Hi Emanuel thanks for your feedback! I have tried checking the network and theres nothing there either. I checked my flow made sure theres no broken links. Its just strange to me Ive never experienced this. For now I'm just rotating offers daily hoping one sticks.

Can you ask your affiliate manager to trigger a test conversion for you? It is very likely that the offer is just not good enough but might as well ask them to have another look, since they are there to help you.

Also, ask for the average CR on the tested offers, on FB traffic. Thereby, 200 FB clicks on an iPhone pin submit in Poland isn't a guarantee for conversions.

Depends on the flow/angle ofcourse too.... try to see if you are not promising too much in the ad/prelander for example, hence a HIGH CTR but disappointment on the campaign pages?

Thank you!! I messaged my AM for the CR thats a good idea. I was thinking maybe that flow working well in that Geo maybe. They are clicking on the offer as well too. If it was just the lander with all the clicks an not the offer then it would be promising too much right..

If your ad is saying "free money", and your prelander is saying "This guy got free money" and the campaign page says "It's free money, but you have to pay for it first". Your CPC will be low (ctr high), because people clicking crazy on the "free money" trigger. The CTR (from prelander to campaign page) will be good too, since you are saying some guy was getting free money! But the CR will suck big time because eventually you have to pay for the free money

Make sure your story from A to Z feels natural, convincing and attractive.

Hi carolynnn, as other Stmers are suggesting do contact your AM, because even if theres a self-service, real-time, stats system, they maybe having postback issues with the advertiser and you are going crazy thinking its your own issue If what you see on the stats system seems "strange" dont doubt to contact your AM first, the best part is this hand to hand communication.

Also, if you split test in the future and join other networks I do suggest you always start of as manu_adefy suggests, with a conversion test to make sure your tracking is working... this is ESSENTIAL... I wouldnt launch an affiliate without assuring this.

The other suggestions, asking about the geo or products usual CR etc are also useful, of course. Though from experience this varies a lot from traffic source to traffic source. So this is not a clear indicator of any error in your tracking, its suggest that the traffic doesnt work well on that particular product, it could though on other...

... Or, if you see, as you say, that three offers arent working... and you have a fluid communication with your AM, Im sure the network will support you in testing and filtering out traffic that may actually NOT be working in general, independent of the product.

Hope you find the reason and get those conversions up!
