I am offering my own offer at the end of the funnel (still building just started last week), my nurturing period is roughly 6+ months due to the nature of the purchase.
Has anyone had any long lead nurturing or point to threads that could help? I searched lead nurturing or long sales cycle on the forum but couldn't find anything.
The problem is that I am going at it roughly blind.
My plans are:
Ah, sounds like you're doing something more enterprise-level?
We've not got a lot of threads on that specifically, but there are lots of good threads on, for example, email marketing: those definitely feed into what you're looking for.
Check out everything John Alanis (user johna5150) and _mcr_ have written on here for starters!
thanks.
There is no resources on amazon on what I was looking for.
Really annoying.
The free books from hubspot, etc.. are way way too vague.
Well it is in the construction industry and we're talking about my offer which can be as low as £500 to £8k, which they'll only use us once in their life time.
The market is saturated and all the competitions are using SEO.
We killed it in PPC but we can't optimise anymore to make a good profit.
Hmm - not an industry I've worked in, but I'd look at advertising on FB, probably funneling people to a free email course and then selling on email from there, or maybe offering a free webinar from there and then going to the sale. That's an approach that works pretty well for around that price point in other industries. You could try FB's new lead generation ads and do the entire signup process on FB, or alternatively funnel people to a classic squeeze page.
The key element's going to be the email sequence - 10-20 information-heavy emails with sales back-loaded, offering useful info and making it clear you understand the customer's pain points.
If you can, watch Neil Patel's talk from AWA16 - he describes a sales process for products around that price point.
thanks I'll see if I can find that video.
