AdCombo Dissection Partials and Conversions? Thoughts?

started running COD on AdCombo and was seeing if anyone puts a value or even count the data that they received partials on or holds as they are called in adcombo? or do you just filter out by converted approved leads? im advertising on revcontent and I want to either blacklist the non converting widgets but then again, i think there is some value in hold leads. if so what value do you give it, not throwing off your stats or do just ignore holds? and only count approved leads

Hey Ian,

I'm trying to figure out the same problem as I started testing some of their offers too.

What I did so far is that I started tracking all conversion types (hold, rejected, approved) using custom conversion type in Voluum, so I can see what's going on.

I think if the widget converts there is some value to it even if its still in hold state.

Now what I need to figure out is some success ratio between approved and rejected conversions for a widget.

Or maybe look more deep into it and see if there is not a particular creative that is causing the rejection for that widget.

But maybe I'm just overcomplicating it.

I will be happy to hear how are other guys approaching this.

do you give it a value in Voluum? i agree i think if they optin there is some sort of value. right now i just want to figure out the difference on holds and approve and what value if any should I give it

I'm taking into account that if it converts there is some value in it, ie. at least it's not a bot placement and it may attract more conversions in the future, so I keep watching them.

I'm interested in testing out AdCombo. I've had success with a few international offers lately but is Adcombo mostly nutra that you would need to cloak on FB?

Average approval rates may differ according to various GEOs. Holds can be inсluded in the overall profit, though, you'd better coordinate this issue with your Affiliate Manager, he/she will advise you smth according to your stats

yea but the thing I am trying to figure out is what is the value of a hold vs conversions - cause i have this magic calculator in excel that helps me with some decisions... so i need a value really... or maybe like 1$ - figuring out that number is a bit hard. guss ill try with X holds/X conversions - gives me a baseline i guess

Potential value of one hold heavily depends on the average approval rate for this country, this offer and current situation. Mathematics won't give you an update as good as your manager will, so don't rely that much on it and PM me the email you used to sign up with us - I'll let your manager know.
