Hello brilliant STM people!
The time has come for me to start my Ecommerce venture. I'm following Caurmen's Ecommerce cookbook, and building a generalist store in order to be able to test with different products and eventually branch into more specialized stores once I've found proven product categories that work, and make them into separate stores.
I'll be doing the usual mix: Facebook,
The math is simple: If I can grow traffic to 40K sessions/month and have an average basket value of 40 dollars, with a 1% conversion rate, I'll be able to generate 16.000 dollars/month in revenue. Deducing marketing and operational costs, I'll be able to generate 3.000 - 4.000 dollars / month in net profit. This seems like a reasonable goal I can reach in 3 months, and would allow to cover for my living expenses.
Any comments are well received as I realize a lot of folks here have gained their freedom and are eager to pay it forward.
Cheers!
Cool stuff - I'll be following along!
Day 2,
When implementing the FB Pixel, I realize that FB only lets you have 1 pixel per ad account. In my FB account I had a pixel from last year, when I created (and abandoned) a jewelry dropshipping store, with some conversion data on it (Not much, I only tested about 3 products).
Does anybody know if I should just use the same one?
Also, I'm using an account linked to my personal FB account, should I be doing this and maybe risk having it blocked? I hear FB can get picky, even though I won't be selling anything that might get blocked but you never know.
My message for everyone: Success is inevitable
Best,
Luis
Fire up the Business Manager and create yourself a business account: https://business.facebook.com/
Thanks fellas, dully noted. Just wondering... Am I safe opening up a Business Account with my personal FB account or should I create another one just to be safe? I don't want to make mistakes I'll regret later
