I think you could first try the facebook.
Hey Guys, still plugging away and refining the copy for the store. Haven't had much feedback just bumping this thread in hopes that I can get some advice from someone experienced. Been working on my Facebook ads and am eagerly awaiting part 3 of Caurmen's cookbook! My question remains the same: is this niche dialed down enough or is it too broad?
In terms of just looks, your store is really nice imo. That blue fits well with the beach theme.
In About Us - perhaps a less stock photo helps. Small point but wanna be thorough for the parts that I can help with even just a little.
Alongside the trust badges, you could also add the 100% return free hassle and stuff like that for badges. Like this one: http://prntscr.com/ftjich
Videos of products being used can greatly help. Think the inflatable couch type video for your items. In general, it will also serve as a user's manual, so you get fewer complaints about "item doesn't work as described".
Use non-watermarked items, or watermark only with your store name.
Fake testimonials on the product page usually helps. At the moment it looks very empty, even though you have clearly put thought into it for the elements that exist already.
Overall, you could be on to something but only testing will tell. We are all eagerly waiting Part 3, haha. It should be really good!
As for the niche, you have to test the products and see. Maybe you see potential in going more niche into USA themed beach items, just as an example since I saw that beach blanket. You have to start by testing out, no way around that unfortunately.
Hope it helps, looking forward to seeing your progress!
Thanks a lot manu! I really appreciate the feedback. I've started implementing some of the changes you recommended already. Nice to have a community to run things by when you're just starting out. Yes I agree can't wait for part 3 of the cookbook!
P.S. What would be the angle on removing the stock photo in the about us page? My goal was to try and create a fun beach vibe.
Stock photo makes it look fake - if you don't have any yourself, ask some affiliates somewhere if you could use their beach pic(s).
The MRKTRS community comes to mind as a resource of awesome pictures: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...-Entrepreneurs!
