Does Turning Budget Way Down Kill CTRs

So we all know after an ad has been paused, it never seems to do the same when it's reactivated.

I'm trying to find a way to slow/pause ads without killing their momentum.

Does anyone know if lowering the campaign budget to like $1 and then increasing it during prime hours will affect CTRs?

Thanks,
Jason

I pause ads all the time with no issues.

but lowering your budget shouldnt affect CTR's by much. If it does than you're not reading other factors at play like time of day, reach, frequency, etc.

If your looking for ways to day part without pausing then yes dropping your budget will work. The only time you may see a negative effect is if you increased the budget way high really fast like say from $100-$10,000 FB would try to throttle the shit out of your impressions in an attempt to fill that budget if your CTR was good and as your frequency would climb i'm sure in most cases your CTR would start to fall.

Is there a difference when pausing and unpausing direct-link ads vs. pausing ads for fan pages? anyone have any input on this?
