[Journal] My crazy Sweepstakes Facebook journey (5)

Hey guys,
as I`ve been in marketing for 2 years and got some experience with facebook in Czech republic and Slovakia doing ecommerce (fidget spinners). After hundreds of phone calls with my customers I`m tired of refunding, servicing of fidget spinners so I decided ti swich what I really like - doing marketing 100%!

Month ago I bougt this awesome membership and spent countless of days reading success stories and visiting AWE I jumped into river and doing affiliate marketing using all my focus!

Thought my main focus will be pops but it would be so pitty if I would not use my facebook experience and dont use it... so - here we go.
After few hours of searching good payout and joining countless of affiliate network I gave up. A day after a guy added me on skype. I thought that`s some affiliate dude that just wants to talk about campaigns but I was so wrong! He was from iMailo network I`ve spoke to so i thought it may be more credible.

Told him that I`m searching for sweepstakes with nice offer and he gave me 4$ payout off the bat! I came crazy!

But how to promote sweeps on facebook? Only blackhat? There must be another way. At AWE I met guy called "David" that was at iamAtilla workshop and shared some secrets with me! I`ve also seen Anthony Morisson (fanpage domination) and decided to test the rivers.

So I created simple video using app "quik" (it`s free and I have no commision from promoting! ). Set a landing page that redirrected people to survey about their DREAM vacation. After submitting the information they were redirected to PIN SUBMIT where they got a chance of winning the iPhone.

Well what`s the reality? I realized that the biggest problem is credibility. So I`ve posted promotional video on my fanpage and told my friend to share the video to facebook groups. So my fanpage got 500 likes/day. After receiving so much likes and share I decided to put money to ads and help virality to spread my sweet video and get visitors to my landers.

Well. It was crazy. First day i got 6500 visits from investment of 500 Kč (which is 20usd). I ended up with profit of 100usd - so 400% ROI!

It was AMAZING but I missed the point that virality from facebook groups helped me a lot.

So yesterday I`ve tried to invest 100usd - and it was still keeping pretty well - gross profit was 160eur and my "clean earnings" were 60eur which is pretty nice when campaign is 4th day on.

Well I collected 11k emails within 4 days yet. (seems like I have to upgrade my getresponse acc )

I optimized conversions to 2% which is 2x more than previous days... but problem was that in the morning I was -100% ROI. So I stopped my campaign and now I`m figuring out what`s wrong. Seems that most of those conversions came from emails but I did not track it! Well we learn from mistakes, right?

I wanna make this post as my journal to share my experience. What is my goal?

I desire to reach $1k/day in profit. I think it`s impossible to reach such earning in czech republic. That`s why I`m starting my campaigns in Australia .

Great going man, 11k emails in such a short period of time is definitely a success .. now find a way to monetize them and keep on collecting

You're right about CZ or SK markets, they are small so you need to look at the whole world .. thats the beauty of AM actually, you can target anyone from the Czech Rep.
