Hey guys. Trying to setup Yep!Ads in
First off, does Yep!Ads use Cake? That's what we found by Googling around... so we then tried to follow the
But we're seeing different stuff.
Here's the link given to us for offer we're approved for (we changed some letters so link won't work here):
http://rh.balldfamodn.com/t/clk?id=oYMsdflkRLfqg1ZI4
Here's what the Voluum + Cake guide says the link should look about like:
http://whatever.com/?a=12345&c=67890&s1=
Not seeing the relation! Thoughts?
Cheers,
Scott
They dont use cake, they have their own platform now.. Asking how to do all this stuff, is perfectly fine I would say, often they have someone in their network which they will connect you with..
You can reach out to me on skype if you want: frederik.gejl maybe I can help you
This doesn't look like a cake platform link, cake links contain the a= and c= parameters, one is the ID of an affiliate (you), the other one is the offer URL.
In any way, you need to append the s2 parameter at the end of the link, or whatever they are using to catch the click ID - you need to ask them about it. Or at least ask what platform they are using - the structure doesnt look familiar to me at the first look.
So the link "could" look like http://rh.balldfamodn.com/t/clk?id=oYMsdflkRLfqg1ZI4&s2={clickid}
The usage of s2 or other parameter depends on the configuration of the particular network you are using, ask them about it, they need to tell you what parameter to use to pass them the click ID.
@saigonscott YepAds has moved to their own platform but the setup of campaign links remains the same.
so for the above link http://rh.balldfamodn.com/t/clk?id=oYMsdflkRLfqg1ZI4 you just have to append tokens as you used to do previously on Cake resulting in somthing like this:
http://rh.balldfamodn.com/t/clk?id=oYMsdflkRLfqg1ZI4&s1={campaign.id}&s2={clickid}
Hope this helps
Assuming that what platinum posted above is true, do not forget to tell them to install postback url for you too, it should look like this : XXXXX.voluumtrk2.com/postback?cid=#s2# replace XXXXX with your own

Thanks a lot guys. For anyone else having this issue the end result was add &s2={clickid} (credit Mutaloo) to the end of the link.
