More Bans From Zeropark...Why? (7)

More Bans From Zeropark...Why?

So I posted a thread a few days earlier about my YTZ camps getting rejected from ZP after being initially approved (for being flagged by Google Safe Browsing) but now it seems the same thing is happening for other non-ytz campaigns I'm running as well.

These offers are download offers (like update your flash player etc).

They get approved initially by ZP and after running for some time they'll get rejected because of being flagged by Google Safe Browsing.

When ZP sends me the URL that got rejected my offer source tells me that that URL is not part of the redirect path of the offer.

I took the advice I got from matuloo and set up redirects for all traffic coming from other geos I'm not targeting to go to a neutral page, but some clicks still slip through. The idea being, clicks from geos the offer doesn't target would be redirected to some non-compliant offer so by sending them to google.com or something it would prevent them from being sent to sketchy offers. But even setting up a condition in my tracker can't catch all traffic from the wrong geo.

I'm kind of at a loss on what to do here. Any ideas on how I can keep running these offers without them being rejected every week?

Thanks.

Are you 100% direct linking or using a lander?
In case of a ripped lander there might be a script in there sending part of the traffic (perhaps intentionally) to the cause of the problem.

The ones that have been flagged/rejected were direct linking.

How did you set the condition? Make it so that only the GEO you are targeting goes to the offer and everything else should go to a safe destination - so the default destination is the safe page and use a rule to send the traffic from the proper GEO to a different offer. Do not try to make a rule for every other GEO. It's also a good idea to take it one step further and specify the device/os/carrier that you are targeting - in case you're targeting like that at the source.

I created a rule that says "If the Geo is XX" it goes to the offer. If not, it goes to a safe page (I just used google.com for now). In my tracker I see that it's working somewhat...there are clicks that end up going to google. But I noticed at my offer source that there are still some clicks going to redirected offers in geos I'm not targeting.

Hm, could be a problem with the GEO detection at either the tracker or offer side ... I'm afraid there is nothing you can do about it, especially in case it's happening at the affiliate network.

Did you manage to get any reply from YTZ regarding this btw?

Yeah that's what I figured. I've had some other offers (download offers, like update xx on your PC etc) rejected by ZP for the same reason. Still trying to work with the two sides to figure it out but I've decided to move on to other traffic sources for now which aren't so ban happy.

Yeah they take a few days to respond but they've finally got back to me. Lately they told me they fixed some stuff on the back end once I sent them the URLs that got banned and they're going to look into the redirect problem. They said it might be something to do with a proxy detection/redirect which they'll look into for me but it's a network wide system so I don't know if anything will come from it.

Thanks for all your help BTW. It's been really valuable.
