WHAT EXACTLY gets banned, when an "ad account" gets banned?

Hey peeps!

This may sound like a stupid question at first, but it seems there is some confusion about his out there.

To be clear: Facebook allows me to have:

1. One personal ad account
2. Two "businesse accounts" (which sometimes seem to be referred to as "ad account" as well, therefore the confusion). Each of my "business accounts" contains 5 "ad accounts".

So in total I'm having 11 "ad accounts".

When people say "my ad account got blocked", does it mean that a single "ad account" got blocked and they still can use other ad accounts of that business account? Or does it mean that the whole business account got blocked?

I basically want to know, if I can get banned 11 times before I'm out of business or only 3 times (1 personal account and 2 business accounts)

Thanks a lot!

This is per account/person different. Could be you loose all, could be only one indeed.

I have wondered this myself. I have heard its usually per account. So of the 5 accounts you have under 1 business manager, you could lose 1 account but the rest are fine. I have also heard that depending on the violation, it could be your whole business account. I dont know for certain but would be great to confirm others experience.

In Adwords, if you do something sketchy they ban the user, all of your accounts and the accounts that you will create. They likely find all your other accounts using your cc and likely your IP.

They can also ban certain sites - usually repairable if you make their changes (and generally not have an aggressive site). If this happens, the site just can't run in your accounts but the accounts can still run other sites.

Given all the FB accounts hacks I've read, I'm surprised that FB hasn't not implemented this level of security

Is it truly in their best interest to close all the loopholes though?

Cool question though, as an advertiser I wasn't fully aware of the intricacies of different accounts and ad accounts!
